Unfortunately, my RV was not very well built. I purchased it new in 2021 and have had nothing but issues with it. The water pump malfunctioned (the manufacturer did pay to fix it). The battery does not charge properly. The wiring of the unit on the tongue was poor. The RV came with no model-specific manuals, just various manufacturer manuals for some of the appliances. I've had to tighten most of the plumbing after discovering leaks. As a first-time RV owner, I wanted to buy new to avoid issues as I learned the ropes. That did not work out for me. We do enjoy using the RV, but the constant maintenance is killing my free time.
Not happy about the dealer experience. Had them install 3rd AC unit. Apparently it leaked.
We love our little RV although I’ve had to replace a Radio that never worked. Installer didn’t connect it entirely. It’s very flimsy for taking around. Screws, walls, outlet covers, clean water tank fastener just sheared off. The city water inlet ruptured spraying water all inside for unknown amount of hours. I’ve been told NOT to buy an RV made in 2020, 2021 only after I purchased. Just simply because it was put together like 6 grader boys were installing it. Also I have to replace the awning already. It’s separated from the trailer. Hardly even use it.
i haven't own my RV Camper only one month and my ladder holder and ladder broken when i hooked it up to climb up to the top to check everything and to put a RV cover over it it broke apart and i fell to the ground along with the part and ladder some really i like the RV but this new RV shouldn't be in this type of shape i have even taken it out to enjoy it.
There have been some simple quality things that were overlooked. The water tank valve was loose. The only reason it did not fall off what the release valve could not rotate. I took the release valve off and tightened it. There is little or no clean up after installation of wiring and plumbing. Metal and wood shavings are in every space I look into. I am still vacuuming it up. Medicine cabinet is flimsy and broke, I replaced it myself. The electrical outlets are all on one breaker severely limiting appliance usage when plugged into 30 AMP service. I keep finding things like this as I use the camper. And a final annoyance, the stickers are crooked and sometimes not even close to they should be. It is just lazy workmanship overall. You need better QC standards and inspections, it would not be hard to do.
Quality could be better. Service has been horrible
The overhead doors inner the recliners don't start open. There is no room under the bathroom sink to store anything. The refrigerator doesn't open right. I like the color. I like the closest space in the bedroom. I like the pantry space...I would like it better if the shelves pulled out. The Wi-Fi doesn't provide Internet.
Let’s see , in 2 months the ice maker quit, pantry door drags , panel box door doesn’t stay shut, stove back splash buckled, leveling system not accurate, water leak in shower valve behind wall. Dealer has already replaced fridge door and has a cargo bay door ordered account doesn’t open when camper is hooked on truck to travel. This doesn’t include items dealer repaired before delivery. Spent way too much for unit to have these types of issues. Traded in a 2019 Lance 2285, what a mistake.
Floor plan. Have had several issues with plumbing leaks and a cracked gray tank. The unit was transported out lot in Florida and has never been moved, but we still have a cracked tank. Also the air conditioning motor is now starting to make noises like there is an issue.
Well I have had it 1 month. The day I bought it, it had to have the AC replaced (the dealer swapped it out with a similar RV there), the solar panel had an error code indicating “reverse polarity” (still not fixed), and I found a note from the trucking company that it was delivered leaking in the kitchen hatch.
