We traded our 5th wheel for a Class A and had an incredibly positive experience with the Dover, Florida team. Chris Buggs in sales got us exactly what we were looking for and was very friendly and knowledgeable. When we came back for delivery, the team worked together fabulously. We were greeted by the delivery process manager Robbie and turned over to the very capable and friendly delivery coordinator Abby, who never left us hanging and kept us informed during the entire visit. Off we went for our walk-through with John who gave us unbelievably detailed information on our new rig. He took his time and made sure we had all of our questions answered before taking us back to Abby who then took us to Christina Allen in finance. Wow, she really knows her stuff and was very pleasant to work with. We never felt rushed or pressured during our entire experience. It's refreshing to see a dealership that puts teamwork into action. Kudos!

We had a fantastic experience with General RV Center from start to finish. Dominick, our sales rep, went above and beyond, personally locating the exact 2025 model we saw online, even though it was undergoing inspection in the service bay. We placed a deposit the same day, and Tommy supported us throughout the financing process. We ultimately chose to buy it outright, and to our surprise, the price didn’t change. When we returned to finalize paperwork, the dealership made us feel like VIPs.. literally. Our name and RV photo were displayed on-screen at check-in, and we received VIP badges. Sam C. greeted us warmly, offered drinks, and patiently answered our newbie questions while Ryan T. prepared the walkthrough. The walkthrough was incredibly thorough. Ryan explained every system, showed us key features, and even flagged a couple of issues we hadn’t noticed—which he documented for correction before delivery. Afterward, he gave us a tour of the parts and service areas before returning us to complete final paperwork with Tommy. Start to finish, we were in and out in under two hours. We’re thrilled with our purchase and highly recommend General RV Center.

We’ve been contemplating an RV in preparation of our retirement. Approximately four years ago we worked with Chris(last name?) who’s now in internet sales. He left such an impression. I’ve visited many other close by RV dealerships I didn’t get the warm fuzzy and welcoming feeling I received at General. Upon our arrival this past week we were greeted with smiling faces and Chris Buggs introduced himself with a welcome smile and a handshake. Being a retired VP of Sales I look for the connection and Chris delivered. He showed us many units and we settled on a used 2024 Tiffin Wayfarer. Chris handled the negotiations with professionalism and trust. Jami in delivery called to schedule our walk around. She was awesome at getting the appointment time we needed. She met us at the front and her smile won us over along with her constant follow up until we were ready to drive off. Sierra our tech for the unit review was amazing. Her positive attitude and million dollar smile is second to none. She patiently explained the workings to us and then over the next couple of hours was on top of the extras being installed by the service dept communicating each step of the way all with her continued smile. Michael Hensley in parts was extremely pleasant to address the extras we wanted and continued the “I can do” attitude. Hats off to a great team!!!

Beware! We purchased a new travel trailer from general rv. I should have walked away when they tried to offer me a really shady deal as far as finance and selling unnecessary products to supposedly get the lower interest rate. After some arguing we ended up getting the lower interest rate without purchasing the extra products or warranties. We picked up the trailer on wed, found a few things that needed to be repaired so it took a few hours for the techs to slop some silicone in a few areas. Fri morning we woke up to put some things in the camper only to find water damage from where there were 3 different leaks in our 2026 brand new travel trailer. I Brought the trailer back on the following Monday and requested a new trailer due to the water damage and I was told they would submit the claim to the manufacturer and keep me posted. Well they do not follow up. I have called and left message after message. Once they get your money they treat you like tr ash. I now have a brand new 2026 coachman trash trailer with water damage that I am stuck with. I recommend not purchasing from this dealer and go elsewhere. I also recommend if buying from this dealer to take a hose and spray the entire trailer with water and check the entire trailer for any leaks. I wish I had done this!! But who would have thought that the dealer did not check the unit over before selling it. I also contacted coachman/ forest river and the person on the phone was very rude and basically told me sorry about your luck!! I would not recommend this dealer or any of the units that are being sold. I also had to cancel my 1st trip due to the camper is now back at the dealership and they will not return my phone calls. I will update this post when they actually call me back. Edit 9-22. The dealership took no ownership of the leak nor did any of the managers help in any way even try to contact the factory on our behalf. When they get your money they will not help resolve any issues. I contacted the factory and they sent someone down to haul the trailer back to the factory in Indiana. My trailer is on standby due to the factory setting up for an expo. I would stay away from forest river and this dealership. I bought a new trailer and was ready to use it! I requested a replacement non damaged unit but both the dealer and manufacturer refused. I had the unit in my possession for 2 whole days before the leaks flooded the front part of the trailer. I will update with pictures and how long it actually takes the factory to bring my trailer back.

My Rep Bonnie is always helpful and as an RV'er herself she is very knowledgeable and helpful with my many questions and ideas as a relatively new RV'er (Had my Travel Trailer just under a year). The Service tech who works at the check in station is always helpful and pleasant, He goes above and beyond to help you. Over all I have had a great experience getting my concerns and my yearly maintenance addressed. We purchased our first Camper at a dealership to ensure we had the support we needed as we began this new chapter and the team at General RV has made it a pleasant and seamless experience. I would recommend the General RV dealership in Dover Fl to anyone but especially to someone starting out with little to no experience as they are very knowledgeable and helpful.
