Our first time at the Clarkston Center. The entire staff was very welcoming, patient and very pleasant to work with. We were treated like family!. This is out. 4th Upgrade with General RV! Everyone that I have worked with this year has been outstanding! First off Jeremy Miller, followed by our sales person, Craig Cramer, and our Awesome Tec that took us through our walk-through, Kayle, He was very thorough and took as much time with us as needed. Answered every question we had. Jesse in finance was super as well. Great job done by the entire staff ! Thank You Very Much and looking forward to enjoying our new fifth wheel next season.

Purchased our first unit here and the sales team made the entry into RV life very warm. The staff were very attentive and they made sure we were well taken care of. A major disappointment of this experience is that during what I would imagine is a fairly routine installation of a 7-pin hitch connector, a technician error resulted in additional repairs needing to be done with my vehicle upon completion of the work. This resulted in the loss of the use of my vehicle for over a week while they diagnosed and fixed the problem. Not great timing seeing as it was the middle of January and that was my only AWD vehicle. Better care should be taken to avoid scenarios like this in the future. Also speedy diagnosis and repair should be prioritized when dealing with customer vehicles as this can spoil an otherwise seamless experience. EDIT: I had to edit the rating. After receiving the car upon completion of the repair, I had to take the vehicle in to a Subaru dealership in order to diagnose an error message that popped up. Further diagnosis by the dealer determined that components in the instrument panel had been damaged during the harness replacement repair in addition to the 7-pin trailer connector wire that was just installed was pinched in the vehicle frame. I would not trust the repair shop they used for any service. What a debacle of an experience. I have not even taken the RV out yet and I'm already experiencing issues with General RV service
Whether you're purchasing a pop-up, a motorhome or travel trailer, the process can be a daunting ordeal. I love campers and go to the shows every year which means I tend to know what I want by the time a salesperson gets involved. Unfortunately, our latest purchase almost didn't happen because I made the mistake of starting the process online. Note that each person I dealt with was fine but I also got handed off from "internet leads" to an in-store person who wound up unavailable after inviting us in to look over the unit we were interested in. So, could General RV be a little better about streamlining the process? Yes. But, everything turned around for the better the moment we met David K. He listened and exceeded expectations. The 5-stars are really for him. He understood what we wanted, showed us the unit along with a couple similar units based on the criteria I listed as important to us. He worked hard to get us aggressive value for our trade and into the unit we wanted at price point we were comfortable with. David is a true professional I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to him if/when we're in the market for something different in the future. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Heather and Brady and everyone else involved in the delivery process. Delivery day really went pretty smoothly despite me making some last minute additions to the unit. General RV is only as good as its people and I'm sure there are those that lead to the bad reviews but this go-around, we met some great staff that made this buying experience awesome.
