I want to thank the entire staff at Vicars Trailer Sales for going above and beyond to make my buying experience awesome. I live in Kentucky and this was my first camper purchase. They have a great selection of campers and trailers to chose from. Clear upfront pricing with no hidden fees. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and walked me through all of the features in my camper as well as showing me how to set it up. I highly recommend them for all of your camping needs.
Just bought my second travel trailer from Vicars Trailer Sales in Taylor, Mi. I have worked with Justin both times, although they are all friendly and helpful. Justin gave me encourement and respect in selling my other unit myself and waiting for me to make my choice of a new camper, (something I didn't get from the large local dealer where they tried to push me into trading in my other camper and making a deal at the RV show). I wish I could name all the outstanding service people too, who showed me everything inside and out, the new trailer hitch and installing the electric brake switch in the truck. Everything went so smoothly in the delivery of our new camper. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an RV. Thanks everyone!
What a great place to do business with, super friendly people, outgoing and more than willing to help with anything you need. They have your best interest at heart. This is the only place I will go to service or buy a trailer !! 10/10 :) shout out to the general manager Justin and the whole staff in service !!
This is our 3rd trailer over the last 20 years from Vicars. We come back for 2 very good reasons. One is the personal service we get from Justin and secondly the selection and pricing. In addition their service personnel are friendly and very helpful.
The sales team went above and beyond to support and help us get our first camper. They were patient and helpful with a number of tips and tricks to extend the life of the RV. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new camper or an upgrade!

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop Vicars Trailer Sales's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Vicars Trailer Sales listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Vicars Trailer Sales which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Vicars Trailer Sales for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Vicars Trailer Sales in Taylor, MI.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
Pro Tip

Banks, credit unions, and specialized RV lenders all offer RV financing. Rates vary widely. Get a pre-approval from your bank or credit union before visiting Vicars Trailer Sales — it gives you a baseline rate to compare against dealer-arranged financing.
