We purchased a new RV from Candys RV in Murfreesboro in July of 2021. I wanted to come back here and make sure this company gets the review they deserve. They earned 5 stars in my book! From the communication with Tim, our salesman, the interactions with Lonnie and Alex in parts and service and closing with Cody. ALL absolutely wonderful interactions. In every purchase of this size there are questions asked, prices quoted and promises made. In every instance these fine folks worked hard to get me answers, be honest and listen to my concerns. Tim REALLY went above and beyond, and THANK YOU AGAIN, Tim! I really think I will shop here again, and that makes it hard because this is the SECOND excellent experience I have had with the "Family RV" group. I highly recommend this group. Bottom line, I had a wonderful experience with this company! Give them a try. A Huge THANK YOU to the entire crew that made our purchase so pleasant.
1 Star - Avoid at All Costs! Blue Compass RV of Murfreesboro is the epitome of unprofessional service and borderline theft. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. We dropped off our RV for repairs, and from day one, it was clear that customer service is a foreign concept to them. Despite promises of updates, we were left in the dark for weeks. I had to chase them down repeatedly just to get basic information about our vehicle's status. But the real kicker? The bait-and-switch tactics with their pricing. We were initially quoted $450 for repairs, which was then reduced to $344 after some negotiation. Imagine our shock when the final bill suddenly skyrocketed to over $750! This kind of price fluctuation isn't just unprofessional - it feels like outright deception. When we first brought in our RV, their staff practically begged us to give them a chance, swearing up and down that they'd prove our past negative experiences wrong. They even had us considering an upgrade to a fifth wheel. What a joke that turned out to be! The cherry on top of this disaster sundae? When we tried to resolve the pricing issue, we were met with hung-up calls and stonewalling. It's clear that Blue Compass RV has no interest in actual customer service or resolution. It's evident that Blue Compass inherited all the worst traits of the company they acquired, and then some. They're no better than their predecessor - in fact, they might be worse. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and potential financial loss. Steer clear of Blue Compass RV of Murfreesboro. They've mastered the art of overpromising, underdelivering, and overcharging. Your RV (and your wallet) deserve better treatment than this.
I stopped by here out of the blue just to check out the RV’s and 5th wheels and I was so impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of your employee Skylar. She was definitely on top of her game with her knowledge and was able to take the information on what I gave her to point out various models that would suit what I had in mind. She was very patient, thoughtful, kind with me explaining what I was interested in and knowledgeable about the products your company carries. Will definitely be back when the time is right and would not go to anyone else because of her professionalism. Definitely a stellar sale Representative!!!!
It is an uncomfortable experience. We work with Candy’s many times, the people are very nice and helpful . Now they change to Blue Compass, everything changed. We went in couple weeks ago and the tech told us they can fix our camper same day right at the spot, made an appointment today. Only one tech is working there. They told us need 3 weeks to order the parts, so my husband level the camper and tried to get something out. The owner or manager came out and said why you level it, we need to move it, there are other camper need to park, unlevel it before you leave, then he walked away. We were shocked and bring our camper back.
