The 59KL replaces that setup with Winnebago Power MAX: an 8.4 kWh Lithionics lithium-ion battery, an EcoFlow Power Hub Pro with a 3,600-watt inverter, and dual alternator charging. Winnebago lists the option to add a second lithium battery. The 59KL has no LP tank and cooks on a single-burner induction cooktop.
The Solis has two AGM batteries and a 55-amp converter/charger. Solar is 220 watts with the pop-top, or 190 watts on the 59P and 170 watts on the 59PX without it. The 59PX comes with a 2,800-watt gas generator. The 59P specification list does not include one, though Winnebago mentions optional generator upgrades for the Solis.
The Travato has the larger refrigerator and more cooking appliances, while the Solis keeps the galley simple. The Solis has a 2-burner range top, a 3.0 cubic foot 12-volt refrigerator/freezer and a pull-out counter extension.
The Travato 59G has a 2-door 6.0 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer and a microwave. The 59K and 59KL have a 4.3 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer and a microwave/convection oven. The 59G and 59K cook on a 2-burner range top.
For heat, the Solis uses a Truma Combi Eco system and the Travato uses a Truma Combi G Comfort Plus with two 850-watt heating elements, which Winnebago says delivers warm air and hot water from one appliance. The Solis has a 13,500 BTU air conditioner, and the Travato has a Coleman-Mach 10 NDQ air conditioner. The Solis also has an exterior water fill that Winnebago describes as freeze-resistant, so you can fill the tank without opening the rear doors.
The Solis 59P is the shortest of these vans at 19 feet 9 inches, and every other floorplan here is 21 feet long. All are 6 feet 9 inches wide with 6 feet 3 inches of interior height.
The 59P has a GVWR of 8,900 pounds. The 59PX and every Travato are rated at 9,350 pounds. Each van has a 24-gallon fuel tank, a 12,000-pound GCWR and a hitch rated for a 3,500-pound drawbar with a 350-pound maximum tongue weight. Stay within both the hitch rating and the GCWR when you tow.
The cheapest Travato, the 59K, starts $27,529 above the Solis 59P but only $3,296 above the Solis 59PX. Winnebago lists the Solis 59P from $156,254 and the 59PX from $180,487. The Travato 59K starts at $183,783, the 59G at $184,231, the lithium 59KL at $216,037 and the lithium 59GL at $220,973.
At the 59PX price point, the choice is about layout rather than budget. The 59PX sleeps four and adds a pop-top and rear gear storage. The Travato 59K gives you a black-tank toilet, a larger refrigerator, 245 watts of solar and a 13-foot powered patio awning. Lithium power costs more: the 59KL starts $35,550 above the 59PX. A National Park Foundation trim package is available on all Travato floorplans.
Used Travatos are easier to find than used Solis vans. On 19 October 2026, 74 Searchshop listings had "Travato" in the title, and 17 of them were listed as used. Of the 66 listings with "Solis" in the title, not counting the Solis Pocket, 4 were listed as used.
The 59PX made up 43 of those Solis listings, and the 59K made up 46 of the Travato listings. These counts are listings whose title matched the model name on that date, and they change daily.
Choose by how many people sleep in the van and how you want to handle the toilet.
- Choose the Solis 59P if you want the lowest starting price, the shortest van and room for up to four with the pop-top.
- Choose the Solis 59PX if you need to sleep four and want rear storage for bikes or gear, and want a generator as standard.
- Choose the Travato 59K or 59G if two people travel, you prefer a black tank to a cassette, and you want the larger refrigerator.
- Choose the Travato 59KL if you camp without hookups and want lithium power with no LP tank to refill, and the higher price fits your budget.

The Travato sleeps two people in every floorplan, according to Winnebago's specifications. The 59G has a double bed, and the 59K and 59KL have twin beds that convert to a queen. If you need to sleep three or four, look at the Solis, which Winnebago rates to sleep up to four using its pop-top.

The Solis is cheaper. Winnebago lists the Solis 59P from $156,254 and the 59PX from $180,487, while the Travato starts at $183,783 for the 59K and runs to $220,973 for the 59GL.
