We purchased an older Honda for our son at Cool Motors. Through most of the purchase the team was very friendly and helpful. They even took several cars to our local mechanic just to get checked out. The Honda was solid but a handful of items came up during inspection. We discussed those with Cool Motors and they said they would take care of them if we paid the asking price. Cool Motors was to fix several items and our mechanic would handle others. It’s my fault for not getting it in writing…. Cool motors called us to let us know the car was ready to pick up and within a day we discovered the front end suspension items we were told were fixed were not. We attempted to contact Cool Motors several times but were never called back. So, they have some pretty good used cars but make sure you verify repairs and get EVERYTHING in writing. The car has been dependable for our HS student. We will not shop for a car there again and I can’t in good conscience recommend anyone else shop there either
I bought my 2008 Miata from Cool Motors back in May and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Dylan was so helpful and kind throughout the purchase process and continues to help whenever I have questions about finding parts. They are not typical car salesmen and do not pressure or mislead you whatsoever. I would recommend Cool Motors to my friends and family 100%.
Bought a 1996 Chevy S10 back in July. This 27 year old truck is the same age as my kid, yet gives me far less headaches. Used car prices aren’t what they used to be. Gone are the days of finding anything reliable for a couple grand…even private party. But for a car this old to have under 100k? It was either a miracle find at any price, or a pile of junk. So far, I’m going with miracle. Dylan maintained excellent communication throughout the process. Since I live a couple hours away, he offered to take it to a mechanic of my choosing. I opted to have a mobile mechanic go to the dealership. Mechanic found a couple of fairly minor things, given this truck’s age. Dylan offered to have his mechanic fix them before I finalized the purchase. Purchase process was quick too. When I got the truck home, I took it to the Chevy dealership for a thorough inspection. They were shocked at what great shape it’s in. The Chevy dealer found a couple of other issues, but nothing wildly unusual or unexpected from a truck as old as this. The mobile mechanic I hired missed these things too, so I’m not docking Cool Motors any stars for it. Plus…IT’S A 27 YEAR OLD TRUCK. I wasn’t expecting mint condition. Dylan offered to order any parts I need at cost to save me the retail price. That’s nice. He has also checked in with me occasionally since the purchase, although I think a lot of that has to do with wanting me to post a review. Again, can’t blame him for wanting reviews, everyone relies on Yelp and Google reviews nowadays.
Purchased a 2007 Hyundai Accent from Dylan and Cool Motors. It was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. No hassle, quick to make a great deal for the company and me. I had tried to buy a couple of cars from the big dealers and all they wanted to do was low ball my trade and add plenty of fees to their Internet advertised price. I highly recommend, before you go to a big dealer, try Cool Motors first!
Helped my son buy a car. Found several great deals at Cool Motors but continued to shop around. The more we looked other places the more grateful we were to find Cool Motors. Pricing was great and the cars were in great shape. They were very accommodating in all requests to get the car inspected. Our requests were outside the normal everyday purchase and yet they still made it happen. They are clear and upfront. There were no hidden fees like a bunch of other places wanted to add on and getting our title was smooth and easy. I recommend them and will be back.
