Shopping for a vehicle at Autohouse in Phoenix, Arizona? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask Autohouse if a report is available for any listing.
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask Autohouse if a third-party inspection is permitted.
Negotiate the out-the-door price
Focus on the total out-the-door price, not the monthly payment. Understand every fee on the sales contract before signing. Dealer add-ons like paint protection and VIN etching are negotiable at Autohouse.
Auto financing is competitive. A little preparation before visiting Autohouse in Phoenix, Arizona puts you in a stronger position.
Typical Loan Terms
48 to 72 months is most common. Shorter terms cost less in total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% down reduces your monthly payment and improves your loan terms.
Pro Tip
Get pre-approved by your bank before visiting Autohouse — it gives you a rate to compare against dealer financing.
Get pre-approved by your bank or credit union before visiting Autohouse. It takes 15 minutes and gives you a rate benchmark. Dealer financing can sometimes beat bank rates — but only if you have a number to compare against.

Welcome to Auto House! Our family has spent decades in the car business. It's our passion. We're down to earth and we love helping our neighbors. We got tired of hearing about high-pressure tactics and predatory practices by other dealers, so we decided it was time to introduce a new model. Since we're not a traditional car dealer, we don't look like one for good reason. Arizona weather, for one. You won't find our guests (or cars) baking in the hot sun. We have a HUGE indoor climate-controlled showroom!
I originally came for another car but ended up getting a 2-door Volkswagen. This car is reliable and well kept. Goya gave me all of the car facts and worked with my budget! I will ONLY recommend my friends and family to this shop! Thank you Auto House! 👏🏽🙏🏽
My daughter and I initially chose to visit Auto House AZ because he had a few vehicles that were in our price range. After test-driving two cars we had made our selection. Just as we were finalizing the paperwork, I found another vehicle at a different dealership that I wanted to look at. Goya was extremely patient with us and didn't pressure us at all. We drove all the way to Mesa to look at a different vehicle. The other vehicle wasn't a good fit, so we called Goya back to tell him we'd take his RAV4. We had to wait for the bank to send the funds to him. Once again he was patient and professional, keeping in contact with us as the days passed because the bank was a little slow with the transfer. To the person who felt this place looked sketchy - one life lesson you might consider is to not judge a person or a business until you've actually interacted with them. I think it was very rude to review a business that you didn't even step foot in. It's your loss. Goya was nothing but polite and my daughter and I felt completely safe in his presence. He was very professional and knows cars and the car business. There is nothing fancy about this dealership, however, it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I would highly recommend Auto House AZ for a no-muss no-fuss car buying experience. 5 stars!
Even though I didn't purchase a car from them...yet...I gotta tell you about the wonderful experience I had working with them. From being greeted at the door by Teresa to working on the deal with Devon I felt welcomed and valuable. Devon wasn't pushy but he was result driven...and that he delivered. I didn't purchase from them due to recent personal changes but I'll definitely keep them at the top of my list.
Goya was great. We purchased a Volkswagen Golf. Everything went smooth.
Purchased a vehicle through them. When we test drove the engine light came on. The salesman kept on insisting it just needed new spark plugs. We were in a need of a vehicle so my husband signed off with the idea that he would change the spark plugs and all would be good. Turned out to be the catalytic converter and of course it wouldn't be covered by the warranty.
