Overall a very good experience purchasing my 1979 Super Beetle. The “rules” they have are very rigorous - but after accepting that they are likely there because folks have abused the ones prior in place I found it very easy to deal with the company. Chris was very responsive, helpful and communicative upon my first inquiry and on follow-ups when setting up a visit to view and check out the car and having an appraiser there to help me make my decision. After deciding to buy the car the formalities and the delivery went very well. Patty was very quick and responsive as well and the title, although a bit later than expected showed up and the delivery of the car was ok as well. The car is in good shape - as I figured when looking at it in person - and I hopeful it will serve me for many years. Would do business with AP again.

I bought a 1969 C10 from this dealer. Should have taken the hint when the sales guy wouldn’t let me test drive. That was for good reason after it was delivered. The frame was not road worthy and was patch welded together and sprayed with bed liner. It nearly came apart on my first ride. Paint started bubbling within one month of owning the truck in many places. Truck sat in a shop for nearly a year replacing wiring, frame work, and most importantly getting a bonded title because the advertised “clear local NC title” turned out to be out of state. More money out of pocket after purchase. The dealer would not help when I called multiple times. Over $25k was spent on a truck that then sat for over a year and a half. Not a good experience. I actually connected with the original truck owner through a truck group and he informed me of the condition of the truck. I now know what the dealer hid from me. I would not recommend. Now, wait for the canned auto response.
