I have never been treated any better buying anything. The guy doing my hitch install went above and beyond what was expected. I am one SATISFIED customer and would highly recommend this camper dealer.
I had an incredible experience at Sunrise Camping Center! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They took the time to listen to what I was looking for and showed me several great options that fit my needs and budget. They let my husband and I look at several campers alone, they were not pushy salesmen like most places. The selection of campers was fantastic, with something for every type of adventure. The buying process was smooth and stress-free. From the salesman Jon to the finance guy Dwight they were great! They answered all of my questions and made sure I understood everything about my new camper before I left. Plus, their after-sales service is great, they walked us through the camper at pickup and made sure we felt comfortable since it was our first time buying/having a camper.
I had an incredible experience with Sunrise Camping Center. I was interested in trading in our first camper for a bigger one. I gave Allison and Dwight a range for my desired payments and they were able to get us lower than I was originally hoping for. I was buying a "used" camper and upon signing paperwork Dwight alerted me that he had noticed the fireplace was not working. He advised me that he had ordered the specific part needed and would not be allowing me to leave without the camper being fully functional. I personally feel that most dealerships would have sent you home and then charged you once you found it was not working properly. I can't recommend this dealership enough and will definitely be looking here in the future!
Friendly, honest and transparent. Great pricing and great experience. Dwight was great to work with on my trade in and out new camper. Jerry was very thorough on our walkthrough and gave me lots of great tips. Multiple other staff members checked in on us and always were there to check if we needed anything. I will be going to them for all my future camper needs.
Sunrise helped me sell my camper! Owner was extremely helpful and kind. Process was much faster than I anticipated! Amazing people and would not hesitate to sell or buy from them again!

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop Sunrise Camping Center's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Sunrise Camping Center listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Sunrise Camping Center which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Sunrise Camping Center for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Sunrise Camping Center in Hickory, North Carolina.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
Pro Tip

Banks, credit unions, and specialized RV lenders all offer RV financing. Rates vary widely. Get a pre-approval from your bank or credit union before visiting Sunrise Camping Center — it gives you a baseline rate to compare against dealer-arranged financing.
