Absolutely Amazing! Shout out to Anthony Wilson (Salesman) … for cutting us a great deal on a brand new 2026 Springdale camper and the Finance Team Member and Finance Technician Drew (I believe this was his name) for using both of our credits and getting us approved for our brand new camper and brand new chapter of our pitbull baby, me and my husband’s life in just under 3 hours! Drew truly is “the best” and quickest finance team member out there! INSANELY impressed! We are so blessed to have found Optimum Rv! ( My husband and I went to Camping World first… DO NOT GO THERE! They lie about everything… They promised us a speedy and spendy down deposit would get us approved the following day. We were already skeptical about it, but we tried it … They never called us back and we played ring around the rosy with their lies. We asked to pull the down deposit out and they gave us a slap in the face with that process too while proceeding to call me and my husbands family “liars” for explaining our frustrations with promises made. They lied about a “soft credit pull” leaving my husband and I with a significantly decreased credit scores due to their lies. Never again man… Never again… PLEASE RUIN Camper Worlds Reputation! They are a HUGE Corporation that just wants to take money from you and give you crap deals and poopy service on top of it. When you stand up for yourself at Camping World, all employees and finance team members will dismiss you and shove you off to higher up managers who do nothing for you but look glossy eyed and give fake apologies (crocodile tears truly) camping world truly does not care about you, they care about themselves and money! Take me up on this if you don’t believe us, you’ll walk away ready to file a lawsuit and sadly grow 10-20 new grey hairs on your head) ——————————————— SPARTENBURG OPTIMUM RV IS WHERE IS IT AT! All their employees are down to earth and very friendly! ( Ask for Anthony Wilson ) He seriously does want what is best for his customers and listens to every single question and concern you may have. He would stay out in the camper lot looking at the best camper match for you all day just for his customer to be happy! Anthony was very helpful in everything we brought to him, cut us a deal AND got us our dream camper in the same day! OPTIMUM RV Spartanburg is for the customers first! Mom and Pop Rv place that is going to suit you with the best camper match for you and your family leaving you with a giant smile on your face when you get approved and leave! CHECK THEM OUT! You won’t be disappointed 🫶🏻- Aurora
We had an amazing experience with Stephen at Optimum RV in Spartanburg. Stephen listened to our needs and did not try and push a camper on us that we could not afford nor a camper that did not have exactly what we were looking for. He was patient with us and as a female, I was very impressed with his professionalism and how he listened as much to me as my husband. Drew did our financing and he was equally as patient and explained everything in an easy to understand way. We absolutely recommend these professionals to help you into the camper you’re looking for!
We recently purchased a brand new travel trailer from here and they told us we had to pay $4000 for them to inspect, clean it, and go over it making sure everything worked properly. They told us that they had properly winterized it. yet, when we went to set it up, we had no hot water. They had failed to make sure that the water heater had been winterized, which led to us having a busted Water heater. After calling and asking them to Fix their mistake they told us that there was nothing they could do. But you would think paying $4000 it would’ve Been done properly. They told us they couldn’t cover it and there was nothing that they could do about it, when it’s 100% their mistake. I highly recommend taking your Business elsewhere, because as soon as you leave their parking lot their “customer service “ leave's with you.
**Update: Optimum RV Made It Right** After contacting corporate, Optimum RV of Spartanburg stepped up and took full responsibility for the damage caused by their service department. They acted quickly, reached out to my son directly, and promptly scheduled a repair date. What really impressed us was their commitment to making things right — instead of outsourcing the work to a mobile RV technician near him, they sent their own team out to Tennessee, where my son’s current job had taken him, and completed the repair there. We truly appreciate Optimum RV taking responsibility and following through to resolve the issue. Thank you for standing behind your work and making this right. **Original review before repairs** Dishonest Service and Unacceptable Customer Support I am beyond frustrated with Optimum RV’s service and complete lack of accountability. My son, who is a travel welder, recently purchased a brand new travel trailer from this company. On top of the purchase price, he was required to pay an additional $4,000 for their “service.” group” to fill the propane, add a battery, and fully test and inspect the unit to ensure everything was working properly. You would think paying an extra $4,000 would buy some peace of mind and prevent issues down the road. He also assumed that buying brand new instead of used would come with the reassurance that it had been properly inspected with no issues—apparently that was wrong! After paying this hefty amount, Optimum RV’s service department told him everything was checked, working as it should, and properly winterized. However, at the very first setup and hookup, we discovered that they either failed to properly winterize the trailer or did not correctly handle the bypass valve on the tankless water heater. The result? A frozen, busted, leaking pipe. So much for their costly, thorough inspection. When my son contacted them, expecting them to stand behind their work and make it right, he was told that their paperwork showed everything was checked with no issues. He was also told that because he did not purchase their additional service contract, they could not help him, nor assist with repair costs. That is unacceptable. This was a direct result of their failure to properly perform the service he paid $4,000 for. We understand that mistakes happen—everyone makes them. What matters is owning the mistake and doing the right thing. Instead, they chose to hide behind paperwork and technicalities. To make matters worse, they suggested contacting the manufacturer to see if the warranty might cover it—but even admitted they couldn’t guarantee it because freeze damage may not be covered; it's not! So let me understand this: Optimum RV fails to properly inspect/winterize the unit, damage occurs, and suddenly it’s not their responsibility? If I had known this was the level of service and accountability we would receive, I would have strongly advised my son to take his business elsewhere. He is one of the most understanding, patient, and kind-hearted people I know. He's not asking for anything unreasonable. He is simply asking them to pay for a qualified RV repair technician to come and fix damage caused by their oversight. This experience has shown us that once the sale is complete, customer service disappears—unless you continue paying for additional contracts. That is not how ethical businesses operate. Optimum RV needs to step up, take responsibility, and make this right. Until then, I cannot recommend them to anyone. Absolutely unacceptable.
Went in looked at a couple coaches. The one we wanted to look at first was absolutely disgusting and blew my mind that you are asking 89,000 and cant even clean it. Look like dogs chewed it up and the refrigerator was nasty, not dirty nasty along with some others coaches that needed to be cleaned. Ok, move on look at another really liked it. Sat down to talk numbers and see what we could do. I knew it might be a no go because we are trading a coach in and you always have to roll over. Came back with an offer and payments but they are working on other financial offers. Ok, tell us they'll give us a call next day. My husband and I really talked and decided even though the payment was higher than I wanted, we really liked the coach and upgrades. We would see if any other offers came in and all else fails take what was offered. Well, here's where their practices and deceitfulness comes in. My husband went up there because not calling back. There never was a freaking deal. They straight up lied that we had a lender. Had it all written out with down payment and monthly payments and never had a lender at all. I know they blow smoke up your butt and talk a good talk, but that takes the cake. I'm truly curious to see what would have happened had we said yes to the fake offer. I see other bad reviews. The owner needs to take a good look at his staff and practices because that's a good way to get yourself in a whole lot of trouble. I just don't get it, be honest. I knew it would be difficult with a trade in.
