I had a slide topper installed on my 2022 Coleman Rubicon travel trailer by the service shop at this location. Jason, a service scheduler, provided me with a convenient date for me to bring my unit in and wait while service technicians completed the installation. Charge was reasonable and the topper looks nice and seems to perform well. I enjoyed looking through the camping related items in the store and purchased another item I had been looking for. The employees I met were friendly and knowledgeable. A pleasant experience. I would consider using this service shop for future needs.
Had a great buying and service experience with this CampingWorld location. Beau was a great salesperson to work with as was Matt in the business office. We worked out a deal that fit our family's needs and budget. Everyone was polite and easy to deal with. The entire service staff were awesome with the walk-through and all our questions. They did a great job setting up not only the camper but also a weight distribution hitch for my truck, which I had requested. Chelsea at the store was incredible. She was so helpful getting the additional accessories I needed and extremely knowledgeable. Overall this was definitely a 5-Star experience.
We came to Georgetown Camping World on Friday 9/12 to quickly walk through a few different types of campers to make sure my husband and I could comfortably fit (both well over 6 foot). We arrived at approximately 6:40 well aware of the closing time of 7:00. The older woman at the front desk was very short with us and rude and insisted that we needed to hurry or we would get LOCKED IN. She kept saying we needed to hurry and that no one was available to help. We went out on our own and quickly looked at what we needed to look at and were done at about 6:55. We walked back into the showroom and were FINALLY asked if we needed help -- except it was shouted at us from across the room by a salesman who was too lazy to put his phone down and walk up to us. I am planning on paying CASH for TWO brand new campers and have every intention of taking my business across the street to Blue Compass RV.
We just bought our first camper from Camping World and had the BEST experience! Kate was amazing—she got us a great deal, made the process easy, and even added a little something special for our son. The service team went above and beyond, breaking down and reassembling a dirt bike so it would fit in our truck. When our truck had trouble recognizing the trailer, Tyler and TJ stayed after hours to help us get on the road safely. Huge thanks to everyone who made our first camper purchase so smooth and fun!
If I could leave zero stars, I would. They called me to schedule an estimate and repair for an dent in a door that sales person caused when delivering the rv. They told me the rv could be left there til the repair was done. So, I planned accordingly. THEN at drop off, they cant find the order, then when they finally get that squared away, they tell me I can't leave it because they are at max capacity and that I have to bring it back later to do the repair (we live an hour and a half away). Had them order a couch during this same time, they were having trouble even locating where the couch is so that I could pick it up while there. The most unorganized business I have ever dealth with.
