I recently bought a used Shadow Cruiser at the Clarksville IN location. I called about a different unit. When I went in for a look Jay my salesman showed my units I didn't think about and the features of each. After a couple look overs I went with a higher priced unit thanks to Jays help. Very courteous, no high pressure and while I may have wanted to hear different info on my trade, I heard the truth no BS and was quite satisfied. Went back for the pickup and walk thru I can't remember the name of the gentlemen that went over my unit in the shop but a big shout out to him as well as it felt like talking to a friend and he pointed out a number of items on my camper that I wouldn't have known, very patient and courteous, great experience, check them out if you are looking and ask for Jay..

This was my third RV and the experience was what I expected. Prior to the sale it was satisfactory and after the sale it was pretty much nonexistent. A few issues: 1. Website claims you will receive 21 days free camping at Thousand Oaks, which is convenient because I live in SW Ohio and there is a Thousand Oaks campground nearby. What I received was 21 days at Ocean Canyon Resorts located in LA, Branson MO, Langston AL, Guld Shores AL, and Glen Rose TX. 21 days at campgrounds that are nowhere near me and are in places I'll never go. 1.a. Not sure if this is related but...I never give out my email address. I needed to provide my email address on the Ocean Resorts Dealer Certificate. Since then I have received up to 5 emails a day asking to verify my email address to get a quote on car/RV insurance. I've blocked enough of the senders that I am down to 1 every couple of days. 2. When I received my initial quote from the dealer it included a $1,195.00 charge for PDI when the website states Campers Inn does not charge for PDI. Also, when I received my quote there was a total of $15.00 for registration fee, $3.00 for new tag fee, and $1.00 for Waste Tire Fee (no idea why I was charged this). When I received the loan paperwork the Title fee was $300.00 - pretty significant jump from the original $15.00 quote. I was told by the finance person they use a service to title and deliver plates to the buyer. I suggested they add that info/fee to the quote! 3. During the inspection the doors were held open with the T-handle latches. You would assume that the T-handles were in good condition since the tech had to latch/unlatch the door. When I got the trailer home I found both T-handles broken. I sent an email to my salesman requesting replacements and I was told to call the Troy, Ohio Campers Inn and get a couple of them. When I called the local Campers Inn they politely laughed and explained why they cannot do that. 4. When doing our acceptance walk through I asked the service tech for a copy of the competed inspection checklist. I was told I couldn't get a copy. 5. Did not receive documentation on the Nautilus P5 Water Controller, nor on the additional components packed with the water controller (battery/solar disconnect and a switch that was not labeled). Received no response to my email to the salesman, so I resorted to a 23LDE facebook page for the answer. 6. When I departed from the dealer with the trailer I received the classic "call me if you have any issues" comment from sales. I sent four emails (beyond the t-handle email which was answered) post acceptance; one on the missing sink cover (didn't know there should be one until I looked at the GD website), one on switching the 21 free camping to Thousand Oaks, one asking to identify the function of the switch in #4, and finally one asking if ignoring my emails was standard after purchase support. I received a response to the last email stating my email would be sent to finance. Still hearing crickets! On the bright side we like the camper. Just wish dealer would spend as much energy after the sale as the do before the sale. UPDATE: On the 30th I responded to the "Response from the Owner" email address. I asked what additional questions or info they wanted. I've heard nothing back. I figured this response was from a BOT, but I thought someone would periodically check. I've read many comments here on "how nice and helpful" the sales staff was. Make sure you understand the relationship. They want you to spend $30,000+ on an RV so they will be very nice/accommodating before you sign. Their focus is your money, not you. The true measure is not the behavior before the sale, but the support provided after the sale. This is not a critique of the camper. We like the unit. It's comments on the culture.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jay made purchasing a camper at campers inn seamless. I never felt rushed or obligated to purchase my camper, which was nice because you rarely find that. He was very straightforward, helpful, courteous and he was always just a text or call away with the most honest and helpful response. A month after getting our camper home, we discovered a paperwork discrepancy (not on campers inn end, rather my financial institution) which I contacted Jay for. He was responsive and immediately got Kimberly in finance involved. They immediately diagnosed the discrepancy even though it wasn’t on their end and they told me exactly what to do to resolve the issue. They were patient with my frustration and never seemed bothered with my need for their help. I would 100% recommend Jay and Kim at campers inn for your sales and finance needs!!

Overall good experience and would recommend to anyone looking for their next camper experience. All the staff here are friendly and helpful. Our salesman Jay took care of us. We never felt pressured or dismissed. He listened to us, valued our feedback and opinions.He was personable, transparent and communicative; which is something we greatly appreciated. We are very happy with our purchase and look forward to the 2024 camping season.
