Mr. Thomas began selling small travel trailers in the late 50's and "Chassis" mounted truck campers in the 60's. The dealership became a RV dealer in the late 50's and the Rental Department was started in 1972 and now has several units in service.

I drove for 3 hours to get to this dealership from Champaign, IL. My 4 person family came to look at their large selection of Aliner's, which we think will fit us perfect. We drove off with a Aliner Scout. It was hard to decide which one we wanted. My wife had done her homework on prices and M.B Thomas has the best prices, we even looked in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana. We were so impressed with the staff, Lonee, Justin, and Patty were just so friendly. They were genuinely concerned we got the right camper for us and our car. They didn't try to push us into anything. It is easy to tell they are honest people with honest prices. (Also they practiced social distancing maintaining 6ft during these scary times).
My parents purchased a motorhome from MB Thomas in 2018 and they have serviced it continuously since. For the past 7 years we have been extremely satisfied with the quality and fair pricing. Kudos to Lonnie (owner), his son Chris (the service manager), Charlie (the lead mechanic) and James (the detailer). You guys have made RV’ing most enjoyable for our family.

There were 2 posts on marketplace for newer RVs. I contacted them on messenger and was told how clean and great they were. " excellent" condition, no leaks. The next day I drove over an hour away. 1 was in the shop getting " water damage repaired." The other was super dirty on outside. Then on the inside immed6noticed water damage in ceiling corners. Looked very uncared for. Scratches, dirt. Dirty shower and toilet. Nowhere near ready to sell in that condition. I was disgusted, as I had cash in hand hoping to buy. This place seemed shady like a used car lot.
