I don't know what those bad reviews are about but I bought my first travel trailer from here, a 1976 T.E.C. travelmate, and dragged it all the way back to Texas with no issues at all, got home and inspected it and it's not bad for the year it was manufactured. Everyone was so nice and they even gave me temporary tags to take it home on. I asked them if they would mail me the title and they sure did too, I like this place and would recommend them to anyone that asked.
Trent was great from the start. Fantastic communication. We bought a used travel trailer. I thought it was an exceptional price. After negotiating, and doing the walk thru, I noticed that the slide seals were aged. They replaced them free of charge. The tech also noticed the hot water tank was not operating to his satisfaction, and replaced with new, free of charge. All this while notifying me, to keep me in the loop. My wife and I have purchased 3 travel trailers, and a motorhome from a big dealer, and always left a sour taste in my mouth after the deal was done. This was definitely not the case here. More than pleased with their professionalism, friendly manner, and overall customer service. Would/will recommend them to anybody, without hesitation!! Phil and Kammie
We recently visited Lakeland and 12 days later we have a beautiful park model set up in place. Everyone we interacted with were so great, professional and helpful. Our first contact, Sarah was so pleasant and knowledgeable. Eric the owner came out and surveyed our location answering all our questions and then Brent and Dustin pulled out our old camper and backed in the new park model. They were rockstars in the set up! We are so grateful for their hard work and expertise taking on the task. Complete first class operation and great team work amongst them.
AMAZING STAFF/SERVICE! Bought our first Park Model, they streamline the process, very informative, great options, awesome staff, very knowledgeable, extremely friendly, very helpful, I give them 6 stars. I definitely recommend them for purchase, service, & consulting. Truly am very satisfied and impressed with the follow through on setting up/leveling our park model!
They where great people to work with. Wonderful selection especially for those on a budget. The store is nice and there making sure everything worked before we left was especially appreciated. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is beacuse the man that helped my husband put on the weight distribution hitch did it wrong so we had to stop twice to take it off and redo it till we figured it out. Other then that it was great. I recommend them :)

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop Lakeland RV Center's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Lakeland RV Center listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Lakeland RV Center which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Lakeland RV Center for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Lakeland RV Center in Milton, Wisconsin.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
