Had a great experience purchasing our toy hauler at General RV - North Canton, Ohio. Our salesperson Rusty was attentive and followed up with us. Marty in finance answered our questions and provided all our finance options. Bill Vaughn did our walkthrough and explained the features, options, maintenance and was honest on things we needed and how we should properly maintain our toy hauler. Everything is overwhelming at this point as we are new RV’ers but we will learn and have General RV there to help us along the way.
Great experience at this RV General. Coming from Miami to pick up our new motorhome, they made the whole process very smooth. Thank you so much to Bill the delivery Specialist. He did our walkthrough very thoroughly. Bill is very knowledgeable and gave us amazing advice on what to do and what not to do with our new coach. Thank you Chris Coleman for not making the financing process stressful. Thank you also to Tim, for making this sale possible as well. This place treats you like family. I highly recommend it.
Although this 2025 Coachman Catalina EPIC283 has been in the service dept at General RV about half as long as I've owned it, I Will have to say Alan in the service dept, is very dedicated to making sure his customers are totally happy. He is very conscientious and goes way above and beyond making sure things are done right. This camper (no fault of Gen RV has been the absolute WORST purchase of all the five campers I have owned over the years. I will NEVER purchase another Forest River product as long as I live. They are ABSOLUTE JUNK!
My wife and I have been dreaming for years about a life on the road when we retire, we have been RVing about 15 years now mainly going to NASCAR races, so with retirement close, we had been looking for a Newmar. A few months ago I saw a Newmar Dutch Star on the General RV website, so in July when we thought timing was right, I put in an inquiry, and Christian Clouse responded right away and set me up with the most loyal friendliest hard working beast Adam Germain who worked tireless hours to get me the best deal and finance that we could ever dream of and make our dream a reality, Adam also got us setup with the Elizabethtown store to drop our trade in, off close to our house. Joe Beddow set us up with Progressive insurance so once again we did not have to do anything. David Schaufele gave us a fantastic walk thru, his knowledge was overwhelming, he showed us everything possible and even took us both for driving lesson, David also worked with us before hand to get a tow hitch set up to be installed the day of delivery on out Jeep and RV, so the wife and I could ride together in our dream rig for the first trip home. David also continues to work with us Jordan Napier and her staff have been so helpful, getting the generator an oil change before we left and working with the Elizabethtown store to get us set up with warranty repairs after our shakedown run to Bristol races, General RV has been fantastic with everything done so far and getting us into our new lifestyle starting in Feb 26 Thank you Thank you Thank you the Webbers I will post about our service experience at the Elizabethtown store once service is complete
Bought a 2026 camper and they told me the fridge is fine, just defrost it every time I go to use it. The warranty company for the fridge won’t replace it and General RV will not give me a properly working fridge. Complete total BS, guess I should have looked at all the 1 STAR RATINGS!! Totally dissatisfied and disappointed!! The storage doors above the sink were both very loose and the bench/bed bracket broke first time it was used. During the walk thru inspection there was work orders that had to be submitted. I guess the work orders should’ve been submitted and the work should’ve been done before the inspection. They don’t even know what fridge they put in my camper. Do you think they would keep track of all that information? No they just give you excuses why they can’t fix your brand new camper and tell you good luck. NO STARS GIVEN!! Looking at the pictures clearly the seal on the refrigerator is not working, but I guess I’ll just have to defrost it every time I go to use it because hey, it’s brand new and that’s what we do to things that are new.
