I had a great experience at this location, mostly due to the helpful staff up front. Dulce was professional and personable, easily and efficiently handling when a lot of us came in at the same time. She was really helpful with answering questions and giving suggestions for our next trip too. When you experience great customer service, it's makes you want to book again. Thanks Dulce!
From start to finish rental was pretty easy seamless enjoyed the trip equipment and the RV function very well no problems driving all around 100% comfort more importantly that Newark manager very nice professional took care of all our needs. Here are some places we went.
Our Cruise America experience out of SFO was awesome. We picked up the RV on New Year's Eve. It was clean and outfitted as expected. The representatives were knowledgeable and supportive, very helpful. We have rented from Cruise America all over the country over th epast 20+ years and the folks in SFO were terriffic.
I was waiting for almost 90 minutes in the line to pickup the RV. And the rest of people in the line was waiting for similar time as well. The equipment is old as well. My RV had 65000 miles on it. Tons of broken small things. Overall experience is bad. Avoid that dealer.
Overall we had a positive experience with renting a 25' Cruise America RV for 9 days. We didn't have one of the newer models but it was sufficient and looked nice. We paid for 2 personal sets and a kitchen set. Kitchen set worked great, thankful for small coffee cone. We saved a lot of money making our own meals and so the kitchen and supplies was well worth it. Mechanically everything worked pretty well. We had a tire pressure sensor fault light that kept coming on but tires were fine. Door of refrigerator had to be pushed hard to keep closed. Black tank level gauge was not working right - always showed full. Suggestions or what we would buy next time - dish cloth or disposable sponges - include gloves for emptying tanks
