John was awesome to work with. He was not pushy at all, he listened, and he worked hard to find what would fit our needs and our budget. As first time RV buyers, it was overwhelming and intimidating, but John was patient and spent time to educate us as well. Todd, who delivered our RV, spent time going over the RV with is again to make sure we felt confident and knowledgeable with what we had. I’d recommend anyone to Crosby Motors after the experience we had!
Leaving this review after owing our camper we got from John Crosby here at Crosby Motors over a year ago now. After looking for so long at other campers for sale at larger dealerships as well as individuals, we just happened to pass by and see Crosby Motots and stop in. We had traveled hours here and there and everything we found had issues, or was overpriced at the dealerships. I'm grateful we finally found this place. Mr John had the perfect unit for us. He also was able to meet us at our price point. However, here's where it matters, why you need to come here to shop: He POINTED OUT that if we were going to take it any further than home (my husband had told him we were going to be taking it to West TX) we would need to get tires soon. My husband said he planned on it, but Mr John said he'd do that for us. We had just made it home with our new to us camper and received a screenshot showing that tires had been ordered and should be delivered to our address in a few days. Then, about a month after having the camper, the first rain came and the slide started to leak on the edges and was leaking all into the floor. I was so upset. My husband contacted Mr Crosby via text and he responded with a call right away and assured my husband he didn't see it prior to (he buys at auction) and he'd get it fixed asap. He and my husband discussed it in length, and they decided on the best plan and Mr Crosby promptly fixed it how my husband requested at no cost to us. It hasn't had any issues since. He could've very well said "it was an as is unit." but he did not. He was very apologetic, understanding, and accommodating. I tell anyone that is looking for a camper to check out Crosby Motors. Mr. John will give you the best price on a good, solid unit, and do right by his customers- and that's someone you want to do business with.
We came from Victoria, TX last year for a Travel Trailer we found online and he was amazing to work with. He sent several video's and was open about every single imperfection so when we got there we were not surprised by anything after a 7 hour drive. It's been almost a year now and the trailer is still in great shape! Very honest man to work with.
Dishonest businessman. Sold a trailer while I was on my way and he was aware when I would arrive. He claims the buyer got there before I could. No integrity whatsoever.
