Admirably service. Incredibly satisfied with the service and installation of my new Garmin/Sionyx electronics package. The word “trust” comes to mind with BOE. Kathryn was on point with communication and Tucker went well over and beyond with providing exceptional technical support. Like any healthy relationship, there were a few hiccups along the way but BOE still delivered with full explanation of what was going on and all is well. I would strongly recommend BOE to folks looking to have their new electronic navigational package installed or any other service needed to get you out on the water.
Went to pick up our world cat on a trailer and it had a soft tire and it was very cold and rich could not have been more helpful in getting it taken care of. Definitely five stars for attitude and courtesy.
Every company looks great when a project goes well. It takes true effort and commitment to look great when a project does not go as planned. I have done a number of project with BOE and always been happy. On the last project, the radar did not perform as expected. To BOE’s credit, there was no question, hesitation, or issues about coming back and doing what was needed to get everything right. They stood behind their work and made sure the instal worked the way it was supposed to.
I live on the other side of the country and order all my marine electronics from BOE's website. My first order was in 2014, and I've been redoing another boat the last 6 months. Prices are competitive. No tax and free shipping. They're helpful when I have questions. Obviously, I'm a fan since I keep reordering. I started making a DIY dash redo video as of 2/24/24. It will probably take me another couple weeks to finish the video. Redoing your dash takes time but is not complicated. You Can Do It! Search @99BadDecisions on Youtube and SUBCRIBE so you don't miss the video. The channel name is Bad Decisions Make Good Stories. Order your parts from BOE and you can redo your dash! 4/3/24 Update: Every company looks good when a transaction goes well, but great companies shine when a transaction has an issue. I've placed 8-9 orders with BOE over the years. I live on the opposite coast, so I've never met them and I don't get any special discount/treatment (although I wish I did get a discount 😁). I had another purchased from BOE this week. It was a Victron 1000a BMS. I opened the box, and the BMS was a hot mess of missing parts and not assembled correctly. I sent pictures and a request to get the part replaced ASAP because the boat is out of commission until I get a replacement. BOE immediately said we are sorry and another is on the way. BOE is awesome!
I am very dissatisfied with the service provided most recently by BOE marine. It was a follow-up service call to deal with problems related to Raymarine equipment that they installed in 2022. The very first thing they said to me when I called was that their labor rate was $170/hr, including all travel time, and they made me sign a release and provide a credit card that authorized them to charge the card for all work that they would do. I had no other option but to sign it. I had a problem with the 2022 network installation of a wind and tri-data instrument, connected with a new Raymarine network that included a new Axiom chartplotter, a new radar, an existing autopilot, and an existing AIS unit. I paid $18000 for them to install this new equipment because I did not trust myself to deal with the Raymarine networking system. 3 years after it was installed, the wind instrument, the tridata, the autopilot, and the axiom stopped talking to one another. I opened up my instrument panel to find that one of the backbone connectors installed by BOE had come apart. It was in a difficult position, and they had evidently not been able to make it up properly. I re-attached it, but it made no difference, so I called BOE for help. They advertise that their installation work is "guaranteed for life". They sent our a tech who was very pleasant to deal with, but the only tool he had to diagnose a network problem was a voltmeter. He tried to re-do all the connections, but nothing worked. He spent an hour waiting for Raymarine to talk to him, and another hour waiting for a download of a software update that did not need to be done, because I had done it before he arrived. He could not find any problems with the instruments or the network, and in the end, he suggested that it MIGHT be a problem with the wind instrument, and that I should buy a new wind instrument and a new network translator/adaptor for the autopilot and see if that helped. I ordered these parts, and while waiting for them to arrive I received an invoice from BOE for $679 for travel time and the three hours he had spent. I received the parts and changed the network adapter, which did not change anything. I did not install the new wind instrument. I then wrote a nasty letter to the General Manager of Raymarine complaining about equipment that failed after less than three years of light use, which was professionally installed by a firm that said that their installation work was "guaranteed for life". I received an email back from the GM the same day (Sunday) explaining that they would be contacting me on Monday, and Raymarine did. They had a tech do all of the things that the BOE tech did, over the phone, and they decided to send me, free of charge, a new wind and tri-data instrument, plus a new network adaptor. I installed the new network adaptor myself, which did not change the network situation. I then changed the wind instrument and the tridata, and now everything works as it was installed. I have sent the wind instrument I purchased from BOE back to them. I had to pay for the network adaptor from BOE, because it was installed in my system. In the end, BOE charged me over $800 to "diagnose" a problem that was probably caused by their improper installation of a connection that came apart. Raymarine did the right thing to support the equipment they sold me. Kudos to Raymarine, but no kudos to BOE. Oh, and the last thing is that the new radar they mounted on the mast seems to have lost a few screws that BOE installed. I am reluctant to ask them to go up the mast and fix this, after this experience, and no one in my area is willing to do any mast work like this - too small a job.

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop BOE Marine & RV's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any BOE Marine & RV listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at BOE Marine & RV which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask BOE Marine & RV for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through BOE Marine & RV in Stevensville, Maryland.
Typical Loan Terms

10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
