I have been a customer of American RV Outfitters for approximately the last nine months. Damien and his team are honest and they treat your motorhome like it’s theirs, pointing out things that need to be done. They will give you quality work for an honest price. My wife and I have never owned an RV before and Damien was very helpful In showing us how everything worked, when we went on One of our trips, he even called us a few days later to make sure everything was going OK. I would not dream of taking our motorhome anywhere else to have it serviced or worked on. If you’re looking for quality work and peace of mind that things are being done right American RV Outfitters is the place to go.
We had a great experience here - a bad transfer switch was quickly diagnosed, and at a reasonable cost! Thanks!!
Last year we needed to have some body work done to our 5th wheel while we were in OKC. The guys at American RV Outfitters worked to get our trailer fixed to our satisfaction. (They were very upfront about the fact that they were backed up and it may be a little longer for them to get to our rig which we were ok with) At first we had some blending of the paint that we weren't happy with but Chris had no problems having his guys do whatever needed to be done to make sure we were happy. We're we're so satisfied with the work done we schedule them to replace our awning a few months later. This time the trailer was in and out in just a few days. Fast forward a few more months and the original repair had some issues. Chris and Damian were happy to bring the trailer in and figure out what was going on and do whatever needed to be fixed. We really appreciate how these guys have put forth the effort to care for their customers and doing the right thing. We will continue using these guys for our RV needs.
We are so grateful for American RV Outfitters. They consistently go out of their way to help us out! As a business on wheels, things go wrong and a week in the shop can really hurt. Chris has always helped to avoid loss of business and sales for us, even if its on his days off. We are so blessed to have found someone like Chris to do business with!
Just purchased our first coach after researching and searching for a year. Before purchasing from a private party, we had the coach inspected at American RV Outfitters. We would be remiss if we did not report that the actual establishment is quite impressive, and the staff is very accomplished. Their service was more than timely considering we came in from another state and were working with a deadline. Damian was extremely knowledgeable and his demeanor was easy and reassuring. He and ARVO went above the call of duty when we ran into an issue of a locked hitch system, and his dad, Chris - the owner, delivered a hot meal to our coach prior to us making our long trip home in our new-to-us coach. Thank you, ARVO!!!

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop American RV Outfitters's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any American RV Outfitters listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at American RV Outfitters which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask American RV Outfitters for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through American RV Outfitters in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
