We found our camper online at 83RV. Our salesperson, Bob, was very friendly and easygoing. NO pressure whatsoever! Answered all of our questions. Made this purchase the fastest and easiest deal we have ever done! We also found that 83RV had the most reasonable prices around for the Sunray 149 Classic.

Service only: in the last year, 83RV has lost a large number of their service technicians and service manager. Prior to this unfortunate set of events they were top notch. Now communication and service is unreliable and terrible. On three separate occasions in 2025 I made appointments for service on my Coachman Galleria, only to learn they 1) forgot the appointments were reserved 2) kept the van for over three weeks without even looking at it, nor communicating with me the challenges they faced. In one case they made some repairs to the awning motor/ sensor which kept opening on its own. Less than a month later we find the problem has returned and they 1) still don't know what is broken/wrong 2) proposed charging me $600 a second time - even though the first solution didn't solve the problem. I can understand why service manager Brett, seems overwhelmed. But he simply does not communicate and provides flippant answers that are unconvincing or not fact based. Until they improve staffing, I recommend you stay clear of the service department. Update: While I appreciate your thoughtful response on the review, you were far less polite in person and over the phone when I quietly brought these issues to your attention. I had been a loyal service client for many years. I deserved better service and communication.

Rental Review for Class C. Upon arrival we were told the rear slide didn’t work. In exchange we were told not to worry about dumping it and cleaning it prior to return. Really no choice but to accept that which was a major inconvenience. Later we found the RV batteries wouldn’t hold a charge for more than 30 minutes… even if you are charging all day… a major problem when you are boondocking with a fridge full of food. Had to go buy coolers and constant ice… The batteries clearly hadn’t been maintained. Sink drain was disconnected but we were able to reconnect ourselves. I do not recommend renting from this establishment due to the poor quality/status of the equipment we rented. We expected more from a business with its own service department.

Went for service in May 2024, with our travel trailer for service with an appointment made months earlier. After about 3 days beyond the appointment day, I called about the trailers status for greasing the bearings/check and adjust brakes. Guess what? They said they were swamped with RV rentals and “didn’t get to it”. My question is why wasn’t I told this at drop off, or called ahead of time? (I was leaving days later to go on a trip to Door County) The Service person tells me then, well sorry service has taken the back burner since they have become a rental agency, so those units take priority! I asked how much time they needed, he answered about a one to two weeks! So what was the point of an appointment? I ended up paying a little more but got great service at Camping World, nearby. So much for dealing with a small business locally. I will not return. It was a frustrating experience, where they took an appointment but never did deliver- not even days late.
