Derrick is very rude. Second time he has gave us wrong information. Told us no way to fill hydraulic fluid. After more research on the internet able to fill reservoir. No way to do business when people are by expensive boats from you. Also needed replacement prop told us it would work perfect slowed the boat down and ended up repairing the original. Just remember everyone is not stupid.
Bay outboard has been excellent to work with in all aspects from boat essentials to the service department. They will always be my go to and I suggest others to also.
My go to place for all things boating and for my Mercury Pro XS 115. Extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and just plain friendly. They take all the time you need to try and help you. They have a really good stock of parts and service for many outboard and boat brands. They also sell new boats and have an indoor showroom. Really nice place you should definitely check them out.
Took my outboard in because it was not running right. Was running high rpms they only had it for a week which was nice. When I picked it up tho the guy said he just cleaned the carburetor( which I did twice before I took it in and I told him that) and he said it was running perfect. However when I got it in the water it would not start at all. After a half hour of messing with it I got it to start but was running the same as it did when I took it in. A complete waste of 150 bucks. I will never take another motor there
I purchased this boat sight unseen from Bay Outboard Marine in Saginaw Michigan in March of 2017 and have had nothing but excellent communication with Kevin and the entire staff with questions I've come across. Living 150 miles away I was concerned about maintenance scheduling, but my worries were for nothing. I had a few items that Kevin and I had discussed, we set up Monday at 9am as our meet time and my boat was done that day. Service like that is unheard of!! The staff and mechanics that I have talked to and dealt with Monday were very professional and go above and beyond what I expected. My next Starcraft and E-TEC Evinrude will surely be purchased from Bay Outboard. Thank you from a Happy Buckeye!!
