Even though I did not purchase the vehicle from Betley they took care of servicing my vehicle for a known GM extended warranty issue. Repair was completed faster than quoted will no issues. I appreciate that from a customer perspective.
I was very pleased with Betley's ability to squeeze me in on 10/17/2025 as I was having an emergency with my vehicle. They were nice enough to diagnose the issue for me and provided a thorough action plan to take care of me and my vehicle. I didn't have an appointment until Monday 10/20/2025, but they promptly fit me in on Saturday 10/18/25 and I received my vehicle back on that same day. I was very appreciative of the way they went out of their way to take care of my needs. Many Thanks to Brian, Craig and the Service Crew for going above and beyond!!!
My car was t-boned while the dealership was driving it. The problem was how cold the dealership was about it all, one of them chuckled, said how crazy it was, that it hadn't happened in 20+ years, while I'm looking at my wrecked little Sonic that has faithfully carried me around the country, that I love, wondering how I'm going to be getting to work that week. They immediately had their hand out for the $2,200 in repairs the car was originally in for while my totaled car literally sat behind me, I wasn't even sure I'd ever drive her again. That felt wrong. They made it sound like a quick fix, "We'll throw some doors on her, no problem", the problem was they tried charging me for the doors, putting them on, and the fact the process was no where near that easy. Not to mention I was never offered a loaner through all of this and insurance stopped covering my rental during the many months this dragged on, I was on the hook for over $1,000 for the rental car, all while they have loaners I could have used. In the end I ended up paying nothing for the doors and install, but then I met with the owner, Mr. Platek, who was an absolute jerk. He lectured me on how grateful I should be for how I was treated, and actually said they should have charged me for the $1,000+ for the crash repairs. I've spent thousands here over the years and I never would have if I'd known what Mr. Platek was like. The plucky little Sonic is back on the road, four months after the crash, and I will never return to Betley.
Service review: It seems my experience is consistent to other reviewers here. They do not accept GM certified vehicles unless you purchase it at this location - which is completely off from what GM states. Certified GM vehicles can be brought to any dealership and should be covered under the warranty (which the buyer has already paid for). Even had an appt scheduled and they said bring it back to where you bought it - they are not going to service it here.
