Shopping for a vehicle at Auto Showcase Of Bel Air in Fallston, Maryland? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask Auto Showcase Of Bel Air if a report is available for any listing.
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask Auto Showcase Of Bel Air if a third-party inspection is permitted.
Negotiate the out-the-door price
Focus on the total out-the-door price, not the monthly payment. Understand every fee on the sales contract before signing. Dealer add-ons like paint protection and VIN etching are negotiable at Auto Showcase Of Bel Air.

Typical Loan Terms
48 to 72 months is most common. Shorter terms cost less in total interest.

Don’t be fooled, I purchased my dream truck back in July 2024. In total I paid 35G. 4G for the rims and tires alone. They went down from 8G for that tire package. Which not at all worth 8; let alone 4G. Oh yea, and THE BEST PART, they NEVER REPLACED THE SPARE! When I took the truck back about the rims and tires and bad tire rods. The guy said they were brand new… with gashes on the rims… right. And I literally sat there for HOURSSSS WAITING FOR SOME SIMPLE TIRE RODS. Looking back, I wish I went with stock. Why? Well, the guys who put them on did a terrible job. Mind you, this truck was just inspected…. Do NOT TRUST THEIR GUY ON THE INSPECTIONS. 3 months later, still the same issues. The sensors were all to the wrong tires. Front was to the back, and so forth. it’s the valve stems. Thankfully my mechanic was able to replace the valve stems all at different times/dates. Otherwise it would have been another 300. On top of the 3000 I had to dump into the truck just to get it inspected in PA. Did I mention my wheel bearing? Yea. That was bad too. Somehow managed to pass inspection? 2300 for all my fluids to be flushed. Since that was never done in a very long time (like the dealer said). Oh yea, another 1500 for my rear drive shaft that fell out literally going down a highway the shaft was so mangled, that is should have fallen out prior to the ujoint snapping. just 2mths after purchase; Ironically right after the warranty was up. Even though at purchase, the truck was at 96820 but the warranty paperwork stated 95282. So there’s that. Now when I brought the truck back for the tie rod and tires issue, they fixed the tie rod no problem. The shaking of the front end was “normal”-wide tires and lift kit. But the guy said there was no problem with the tires. My wallet says that a lie. This dealership never mentioned anything about water damage… AKA MOLD/MILDEW, which the smell is very much present. The liner is proof. Which makes me question was this vehicle flooded and resold. I ended up dumping almost equal to the truck. Did I mention that the onstar I was told I had 6 free months of, doesn’t even work. That I had to take it to the dealership to get fixed (more money)… and the last registered location of the onstar was CANADA!!!! Should I show pictures of the rust?? And since this truck is from Canada, the rust would make sense. But I would have never EVER bought it if I known. I saw some rust… but after a few months, the attempt of their “repair” job shows where their level of integrity lies in “solid reliable vehicles “. My side step is literally rusting off. I’m angry. DEFINITELY CHEATED. My last mechanic bill was for 6100… valve cover seal, oil pan seal, 2 MORE WHEEL HUBS/BEARINGS, ON GOING EVAP ISSUE code 446, STEERING GEAR AND LINKAGE, STEERING SHAFT COUPLER. The symptoms were since purchase… since initial complaint and was told its fine. Not to mention each time I had to pay for a rental. Moral of my pathetic story is… which I KNEW BETTER… first and foremost, bring a mechanic with you that owns one of those stethoscope diagnostic tools, and a diagnostic computer/program to run a THOROUGH SCAN; ESPECIALLY ON THE HISTORY. Do not trust the dealer or the owner. PERIOD. DONT buy a vehicle in Maryland. They don’t have to disclose a thing; PA by law has to. The worst part with all of this, these people watched my babies climb into this truck, on their word of 100% safety. My biggest fear in buying a vehicle was unlocked with my first actual “new” vehicle purchase. Would I recommend this place? Definitely not. For what they charged and the underlying condition they clearly tried to hide… I’ll be lucky my truck passed inspection due to the absolute horrible conditions of rust. No one in the description or from any sales person stated the rust they covered up. If it’s too good to be true, it most definitely is!!! Especially with this place. Keep shopping. Oh yea, and my mirrors don’t work. Whoever decided to put these on never bothered doing the wiring. Where they covered the rust and where they didn’t care to finish.
I just bought my first car from this dealership and I can just say the whole process was amazing. I’ve been in the car buying process for a while and I really didn’t like it. I’ve been to dealership after dealership and calling around so much. As everyone knows it’s very stressful but this was the first time I had a stress free experience at a dealership. I had the pleasure of having Mickey and Mike as my salespeople and even the help of the head John ! They were such a great help. They were very patient with me and answered any and every question I had. They took the time to find me exactly what I wanted in a car and matched my wants in financing. I saved so much money with them and the extra tips they provided. They went above and beyond taking every extra mile to make sure I was satisfied ! I am beyond grateful for them and so happy about my first car purchase and will be DEFINTELY coming back again when I’m ready to upgrade !
Do-not shop at this business establishment for anything, unless you enjoy being ripped-off and taken advantage of by these awful people. They are ruthless individuals, who'll will do and say just about anything to con you into buying one of the world's worst vehicles possible. Many are flood damaged, have excessive areas of rust and have serious mechanical issues. Avoid this place like the Plague. Have a Blessed day and be kind to others.
More like Pretty Lemon Showcase BUYERS BEWARE!!!! I wish I did my research and read the reviews before purchasing from Auto Showcase of Bel Air. They sure know how to make a lemon look pretty. Slap on some touch up paint to cover the visible rust, throw on some new shiny rims and tires, stretch out the lift and put it on the ramp. That’s how they got us. My husband and I purchased a 2015 Chevy Silverado with less than 68,000 miles on it. Sounded like a great deal at the time. After closer review there is no way in hell that odometer could have been right and the CarFax had to have been altered. Not even a week after purchasing the vehicle we took it Chevrolet for a diagnostic and revealed it had not one but two open recalls, a holes in the transmission cooler lines, holes in the engine oil cooler lines, faulty brake vacuum pump and belt, substantial undercarriage rust, rusty rotors and calipers. The 6 inch lift kit was stretched out and settled down to only being 3 inches, the new tires and rims were not weighed and balanced at all. This was total nightmare costing us over $10,000 to repair the damage, get a whole new suspension so it could be jacked up with a proper 6” lift kit and running correctly. If you see a vehicle you are interested in PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take a reliable mechanic with you. There is no way the average car buyer will be able to detect these issues in a 10 minute test drive. Otherwise you will be spending thousands of dollars in repairs due to the “AS IS” document they fast talk and slip in during the purchase process which excuses them from being liable for any repairs.
I just bought a 2020 Volkswagen Passat from Off Lease Auto Mall, and I couldn’t be happier! Chip made the whole process so easy—he was patient, honest, and never made me feel pressured. The dealership was world class, and everything felt upfront and straightforward, which I really appreciated. The Passat was in perfect condition and priced just right, so I knew I was getting a great deal. If you’re shopping for a car, definitely check out Off Lease Auto Mall and ask for Chip—you won’t be disappointed!
