I was nervous about buying a used car, and they didn't mind answering my many questions or addressing any concerns I had. Very good with communication, putting things in writing, and following through with their promises. I've had the car for almost three months now and am still very happy with it and the service I've received here.
Kinda sketchy, had a decent car on FB so I drove an hour to check it out. Show up and it’s already running (immediate red flag) but a friend and I checked it out. Immediate issues that were not listed or mentioned when I called: one headlight had a lot of water in it, the auto seat adjuster was very loud and not working very well. There was water by the third brake light and in the spare wheel well (which when I mentioned the response was that someone must have left the hatch open but it was obviously from a leak, most likely from a break in the weather stripping) I mentioned that they had no proof of the Timing belt, Water Pump, and Head Gasket being done so that would make me not want to pay as much unless they were going to do it and he responded with “no, I’d rather you take the car and do it yourselves, my guys aren’t qualified for that kind of work” (which isn’t a way to make someone feel safe or secure in the vehicle they are buying) when I mentioned that all they were willing to come down a small amount on price. On their site they do financing and I had already put this car through their financing calculator, but then I was told no, cash only and as is. At this point the vehicle still seemed worth it to me Until I took a test drive to go get some cash for deposit. I got about 30 seconds down the road and immediately the car started misfiring and the CEL came on. So I turned around and went back and by the time I got back the vehicle was jerking really bad. So I turned it off and then i tried to start it again and it wouldnt start. They acted like they were surprised that that happened and told me that they were just driving it and put gas in it a few hours ago (but when I showed up they said that they had literally just put gas in it and that’s why it was running when we got there. That’s important to know because that is a slimy tactic. You can clear a code and leave it running and it won’t trip the CEL until next key cycle. Also means that he initially lied to me) and ran the code which turns out all cylinders were misfiring. I told them it’s kind of a no and they tried to push another car on me and I said no because I am looking for a specific car. Then they said they would fix the car and call me. Then I told them I need a guarantee, a warranty on the vehicle for no additional cost because of all of this and then the guy got a little snarky with me so I said I’m not going to take the vehicle. I’m not saying don’t go here for a car, just if you don’t know a good deal about cars, bring someone who does.
