We purchased a used vehicle and the experience was fantastic. Logan Murphy was super helpful, knowledgeable and charming. My daughter, who the vehicle was for, thought that Logan was the GOAT (must be a generational thing as I didn’t know what a GOAT was, but it is all good) 😊 Seriously, LaFontaine Infinity Ann Arbor had a great service, warm welcome, big smiles all around, and had a wide variety of vehicles on the lot. The purchasing process high tech setup is unique, never seen anything quite like it. Genuinely friendly staff, clean dealership, truly a professional experience bumper to bumper. And they even put a bow on the hood as icing on the cake.
Alex in service went above and beyond for my family and I!! She was so polite and respectful and we can honestly say we have never experienced such service like this in a long time!! It was such a breath of fresh energy and air compared to the service other dealers provide these days. I’m a 19 year old working full time to support my mother and three siblings while attending school full time, and I have never felt taken advantage of like I did at LaFontaine INFINITI of Ann Arbor. They lied to me and snuck a warranty onto my deal that was never clearly disclosed. It cost around half the price of the car, and nobody ever properly told me it was being added or what it would cost. What’s even worse is how they hid it in the numbers. The warranty was left out of the total price and the total financed amount they showed me, so the figures they presented upfront did not reflect what I was actually being charged. The paperwork was just as shady. Every single document they gave me conveniently left off the price of the loan, and there was no clear mention of the loan details anywhere in the paperwork they provided. It felt like the entire process was designed to keep me confused and moving fast so I wouldn’t catch what they were adding. This place felt predatory. If you’re young, a student, or anyone who can’t afford to get burned, avoid this dealership. I will never return, and I’m posting this so other people don’t get trapped the way I did. 0/5
I went to see if they could swap out my front grill, which I had look up on the actual labor and watch how it was removed on YOUTUBE. It basically pops off and on with a few push tabs removed. Disconnect the camera and reconnect it to the new grill. They told me $387.00 and that it would take two hours. I also had LED Infiniti emblem I wanted installed in it. They said that would be an additional two hours which brought the total to almost $800. I decided to pass on the work thinking they were definitely over charging me. Turns out my intuition was correct because after that I left and went to a local shop who installed the new grill with the LED light for $150. It took them approximately 55 minutes from start to finish. Bad experience had I not done my due diligence I would’ve overspent to the tune of almost $700. Infinity, you must do better on treating your customers with honest labor time.
Over the last year and a half we have had some major and also very dangerous electrical/computer issues with our QX50. Without warning, the vehicle would act as though it was avoiding an accident and would swerve to the left meaning to the lane with oncoming traffic. This was extremely dangerous and very scary for us as parents considering this is our 16 year old daughter’s car. After a few appointments to LaFontaine, our final appointment lasted from June to November, BUT the vehicle was fixed correctly and now our daughter can safely drive the car without a fear that the car will jerk her to the other lane. Even though it took as long as it did to correct the many malfunction errors on the car, LaFontaine took very good care of us by providing us with a loaner vehicle and more importantly, fixed our vehicle. We truly appreciate the time and energy that the service department dedicated to assure that our vehicle was correctly fixed.
