Shopping for a vehicle at A Crivelli Subaru in Franklin, Pennsylvania? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask A Crivelli Subaru if a report is available for any listing.
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask A Crivelli Subaru if a third-party inspection is permitted.
Negotiate the out-the-door price
Focus on the total out-the-door price, not the monthly payment. Understand every fee on the sales contract before signing. Dealer add-ons like paint protection and VIN etching are negotiable at A Crivelli Subaru.
Auto financing is competitive. A little preparation before visiting A Crivelli Subaru in Franklin, Pennsylvania puts you in a stronger position.
Typical Loan Terms
48 to 72 months is most common. Shorter terms cost less in total interest.

I first stopped by Crivelli Subaru back in June to look at Crosstreks and met with Joe. I showed interest but didn’t buy that day, and he wasn’t pushy at all—which I really appreciated. Recently, I reached back out to Joe, went in to see the Crosstrek I wanted, and ended up purchasing it. This is my third Subaru, and hands down this was the best sales experience I’ve had. Joe made the entire process smooth and straightforward. I received the Subaru Guaranteed Trade-In Value, paid $2,000 under MSRP, and secured 1.9% financing for 72 months. I’m used to dealing with much larger dealerships, but this experience was far better than any of them. Highly recommend Joe and the team at Crivelli Subaru.
I was 4.5 hours from home when my Subaru experienced a serious issue with the transmission. I found this location about 35 minutes away and called and talked with a very helpful man in the service department who guided me and advised me. Even though he had no obligation to do so, since I am not a customer here, he gave advice and greatly reassured me of the best next steps to take to get my car home to my local Subaru mechanic. It turned out he was correct in his analysis, and long story short, we arrived home safely rather than being stranded. Thank you for being so kind.
Denise was very informative very helpful very polite just an all-around delight absolute delight and I think you should give her a big old fat raise cuz she's just wonderful and we love her my sister and I so that's all I have to say give her a raise cuz I like her she was a real help.
car broke down on the highway and was towed here, they were able to diagnose the issue and contact my local dealership to arrange transportation and repair and were also willing to provide a loaner car while mine is in the shop in a completely different city. very much appreciate their service and help
Had a drivers side window replaced 4 months ago there and it fell in the door and cracked 4 months later was told they wouldn't cover it.. they just installed window and never checked if it had faulty parts thus causing it to fall through the door and crack.. ask the manager why wasn't everything checked over before installing window and he basically says sometimes we miss things.. smh what.. isn't that your job to checked and make sure everything is OK before installing a new window.. so now I suck paying for a new window again in less than 4 months...
