Ordered some motorcycle tires. They called when the tires arrived and I took the wheels in the next day. Had them mounted and balanced less than two hours later. About $100 less than a nearby dealership wanted. Excellent price and service.
Steve in sales and Pete in parts were awesome to work with! Thank for offering the UTV I was interested in, adding needed accessories to the machine and gear at 15% off. Friendly staff! April 2022 - just dropped off the machine for an oil change and as always great service and very happy with my Yamaha! All the Yamaha gear you can think of on the sales floor along with plenty of accessories!
These guys deserve a 5+ star review. I took my Yamaha snowmobile to them a couple months ago after not having any luck with the dealership I bought it from. I just wanted them to go through it and make sure everything was good to go and to change the oil. The did an alignment on the skis and did all of the preventative maintenance needed on it. Took the sled out last Saturday in some extremely rough trails and ended up with a problem with it not wanting to idle. I tried messing with it and thought I had it fixed. Took my sled out on Sunday and it wasn’t any better. I called these guys Monday morning and explained the situation and asked if they could have it fixed before I leave for Michigan on Wednesday. They told me to bring it in and they’d take care of it. I dropped it off around 1:00 and they called me at 4:30 to tell me it was ready to rock. Stuff like that means the world to me and they have definitely earned a new future customer. Thank you for everything. Dan.
Tom Kolbe has been amazing--and I have never even met the guy! Here is the story: My husband (and I) purchased a new Yamaha Rmax just a couple short months ago. We had put about 180 miles on it when the engine completely blew up and left my husband stranded on the side of the road. We were upset, to say the least. Brandon reached out to Tom, explained the situation and Tom had him bring the machine in that same day--which was a Friday. Tom immediately began problem solving on what to do. He contacted Yamaha and worked with them to get a new engine for our brand new machine. Not only did he keep excellent communication with my husband through the whole process, he understood that we had a trip planned for Memorial Day weekend and said he would work his hardest to get the machine ready to go for our trip. He updated Brandon often and we received an email on Wednesday before our trip saying that the machine would be ready soon for pick up. For as awful of a situation as it was to begin with, Tom really worked his tail off to get us the best possible outcome. He was excellent to work with (according to my husband) and I am so glad that we purchased our machine with them. The customer service we have seen and the loyalty to their customers has been unmatched. I feel like in this day and age, it is hard to find and Power One Sports delivered! Thank you so much!!
Long story I'll attempt to keep short: Summer of 2023 I put money down at 2 separate dealerships (PowerSports 1 and dealership about 20 miles north) to purchase the identical Yamaha WaveRunner from each. I purchased a dual PWC trailer from a 3rd dealer even further north. 1. Due to manufacturer delays, a 2023 WaveRunner didn't become available, and I was notified I would receive a new 2024 model from each dealership when they arrived. PowerSports 1 said that because it was the manufacture's fault that I had to wait, they would not charge me the extra money for the 2024 machine. The dealership 20 miles north was going to charge me the markup. Only after I contested why I should not be charged and that PowerSports 1 wasn't going to charge me, I had to wait for a call back after a "manager's meeting" to learn that they agreed not charge me either. 2. New WaveRunners came in simultaneously spring of 2024. Went north to pick up the new trailer, then to other dealership to get WR #1. They attempted to load machine with an old crane and new trailer needed adjustments. Kid was enthusiastic and tried to help, but just didn't have enough experience. Ended up resting new WaveRunner on the axel and scratching the hull. Went to PowerSports 1 to get WR #2. They loaded machine with straps on a forklift. This amazing young man was flying around and under the trailer making adjustments as they lifted and set down both machines repeatedly until everything was perfect. The service was invaluable. 3. WaveRunners came with an accessory package: bumpers, extra storage bags, tow rope, tube. PowerSports1 had everything mounted and in place when I picked up the machine. I had to call the other dealership to see where my accessory package was. They had to "look into it". I had to drive there to pick it up a couple days later and install everything myself. Had I not called, I probably would not have received it from this dealership. 4. Trailer (Triton) from 3rd dealership north of GB: I had to mount spare tire holder I purchased. The screws they gave me were too short for the width of the frame. Plastic guard over tire had obviously been bent/scratched. Had I known PowerSports 1 sold Triton Trailers, I would have definitely purchased from them. Then WaveRunner would have been on properly adjusted trailer when I arrived. Comparing all 3 dealerships, PowerSports 1 surpassed the other 2 in every way possible. They are my go-to dealership from now on.

Buying a snowmobile from Powersports 1 in Appleton, Wisconsin? Use this checklist to avoid costly surprises.
Inspect the track and slides
Lay the sled on its side and check the track for cracks, missing lugs, or cuts. Pull the track away from the slides and check for wear groove depth — worn slides increase drive noise and reduce efficiency.
Check the hood and tunnel for damage
Cracks in the hood or tunnel can signal a past crash. Look for mismatched or faded plastic, which often means replacement panels were installed after damage.
Inspect the carbides and skis
Carbide runners on the ski underside provide steering. Worn carbides (less than 3/16" remaining) reduce handling on packed snow. Ski replacement is inexpensive, but factor it into your offer.
Check coolant and oil
Pull the coolant reservoir cap and oil tank dipstick. Milky coolant signals water contamination. Low or dirty oil signals deferred maintenance. Ask ${dealerName} for service records.
Ask about storage and season history
A properly stored snowmobile — fuel stabilized, fogged engine, battery maintained — will start and run far better than one that sat neglected. Ask Powersports 1 about the unit's storage and riding history.
Snowmobile financing is seasonal. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal at Powersports 1 in Appleton, Wisconsin before the riding season starts.
Typical Loan Terms
24 to 60 months is typical for snowmobile loans.
Down Payment
10% to 20% down is standard. Off-season purchases sometimes qualify for promotional rates.
Pro Tip
Get pre-approved by your bank before visiting Powersports 1 — it gives you a rate to compare against dealer financing.
Manufacturer finance programs (Ski-Doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat) often offer zero-interest or low-rate deals in the off-season. Ask Powersports 1 what programs are currently available. Buying in spring or summer often yields better financing deals than buying in fall.
