Fun sales outfit. Lots of interesting machines and no pressure floor. Legit service center next door. Honda authorized and hasn't bent me over on regular service. I live in Puyallup so it costs some scratch to bring a non running bike here, but I'll do it again when the time comes. Bought my bike here new and have done service here since. No regrets.
I recently sold my older quad and was in the market for a Can Am Outlander 700 Pro XU. I scoured the ads on ATV Trader and came across an ad from I-90 Motorsports for a 2024 model at an unbelievable price! I thought surely the ad on the website had to be wrong or they didn't have the model of the machine right. Unfortunately this was Saturday night and the dealer would be closed until the following Tuesday. That was a long wait! lol . I took a chance and drove straight there on Tuesday to arrive a little bit early from when they were opening. The drive was about an hour and 40 minutes one way. The staff was wheeling out the machines for the day and I spotted the Outlander 700 and it was the right model. I was pumped! I was approached by Trace and told him that was the machine I wanted. He let me in the door a little early and we sat down to run the numbers. I had a certain price in mind (keep in mind the starting price was amazing!) and they met my price within $250 and I took the deal! The whole process was painless and quick. I was out the door and loaded up headed home within an hour and a 1/2. I absolutely love my new machine! Highly recommend this dealer if you're looking for a new quad. Thanks Trace!
Here’s the thing about supporting your local motorcycle shop. If you don’t, they will eventually close. Sure, you can easily shop online at stores that are open on Sunday and Monday, and you might even be able to get what you think is a low price on Amazon. But if hold off until Tuesday through Saturday, you will get to hand pick an item and make a connection with a crew that is genuinely there to support you. They stock items just for you. They offer a lot of real world insight. I’ll admit that I thought I would be able to get a better price online, and just as good or better product. I bought a Fox V2 Helmet on Amazon, and despite me measure my cranium in cm and inches, the helmet felt so tight that I swear it gave me brain damage after just a quick try-on. I decided to drive from North Bend down to Issaquah to try on a few helmets. And after spending some time with a guy named T, who patiently help me try on ever damn helmet in the store, I was super surprised to figure out that a FLY helmet was the most comfortable helmet on my head. I went into the store prepared to spend $500-$750 on a helmet. Went into I-90 Motorsport expecting to buy an Arai VX Pro-4 helmet for $750+, but the 2XL was too big and the XL was too small. So, I tried on every single helmet that would fit me- Shoei, Klim, and so many more. I finally tried a few Fly helmets, and decided the Fly Formula CP was the most comfortable helmet yet. So, I even tried Fly’s carbon version and it just felt a little too tight. I’m super stoked that I decided to go into the shop. They even made me a helluva deal. Better price than anywhere else was selling it, by far. And, you never know what kind of clearance items you’ll run into. I scored a pair of Alpinestar pants for 30% off as well. And when I left, T knew my named and said later. Look, times are changing. Retail stores have closed all over the place. Take the time to shop and support local. You’ll be surprised what you’ll get out of it if you put a little work into it. And remember, these guys are probably used to people trying stuff on and then leaving to buy online for a cheaper price. These guys will go above and beyond if you give them a shot!
I had a close friend of mine recommend I-90 Motorsports as he stated that they were nice guys. I went to I-90 Motorsports looking to test ride 2 used bikes. A kawasaki Ninja zx6r and a Ducati Panigale V2. I called the store in advance and asked if it would be possible to do so and we settled on a date for me to arrive. My 2 friends and I arrived Saturday afternoon as arranged and was quickly disappointed. Unfortunately the staff was not professional with having the bikes ready for test ride. It took quite some time for the technician to look over the Ninja to confirm that it was safe and ready to ride. To add to that wait, they explained to me that the Ducati was not ready as it needed to be serviced and new tires put on. Regardless I decided to test ride the Ninja and asked when it would be possible to test ride the Ducati. As I was looking to do a A/B test for both bikes and was part of my plan to test the Ducati. I was told that the tires would arrive the following next Wednesday and the bike should be ready no later than that weekend. During this period I remained patient and texted my sales rep. As the weekend approached, I havent gotten any phone calls or texts and I decided to take a look at the listing online. To my suspicion, the listing was removed! As disappointing as that was to know, it was more frustrating to learn through my own proactive behavior instead of a sales report giving me a courtesy call. In the end, the guys there were nice, but not professional and unfortunately within Seattle it seems to be a standard for people to feign kindness and niceness when all I was looking for was a professional experience to test ride a used bike before purchasing. This experience left me wondering if they simply didnt want to sell the bike to me. 🤨
I’m getting back to motorcycling after 30 years and wanted to understand what the bike scene was! Went in to the shop on a late Saturday afternoon to look around. I was fortunate to spend the next hour with Ryan who took me through the bikes, answered my questions patiently and gave me the full low down on the biking scene 30 years hence! He was patient, knowledgeable and there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything. I left the shop much better informed and delighted to know that there are people like Ryan out there educating customers and sharing their passion about biking. Thank you to the shop and to Ryan! I’ll come back and pick up the gloves and helmet from you once I’m done with my refresher course!
