I recently purchased a used Coachman trailer and could not be more happy with the entire process. Marielle and Arthur worked with me on the financing and money part, and the other gentlemen all were helpful on our walk thru, teaching and customer service. Arthur even made sure we had plugs and a starter pack of accessories. We were so excited we ran straight to Grandfather Mountain this weekend! If you're looking for a new trailer, C class or Class A, definitely check out S&M! They do not have everything on their website so go in person, and they sell out FAST. (I had 2 other trailers on my radar and they sold so quick!) It's no wonder though, because the pricing and service is so good! - Purchased a used 2020 Coachman Catalina Legacy Edition, 2 queen bedrooms, bathroom, fireplace, TV, washer/dryer hookup, 3 slide-out, and so much more.
If you are reading this, i hope this review helps you find a trustworthy group of business-people in today's economy: This is the company to get your RV. I am a first time buyer and when i say I went through hell for at least 6 months (though I had been planning/researching this straight for like 3ish years) with financing, the banks, and locking down a model under their conditions (i was already pre-approved for $47k loan). Lets just cut to the cake (or meat)... Arthur is a hell of a person, not just a quality salesman and the mechanic, Jesus, is the most intelligent and skillful angel. Process was super easy, their financing company is very ethical, I obtained financing through Priority One and had approval in moments with good interest and outstanding monthly payments! Debbie was my financial advisor and she really put me on game with how some finance companies work with higher fees. All I am saying is, you can't lose with this dealership. I flew in from TX and just got back with NO issues... His name is SolChaser and he is a 2018 Carado Axion that I am thrilled to have. My little home on wheels. We had a very positive experience with S&M. We got a great camper at at fair price. Arthur and Jesus were great to work with and made the first time camper buying process very easy. Jesus went through all the systems and made sure we were comfortable operating every part of the rig. We had a couple things that needed repair and they were quick to fix the issues and get us back to our next camp site. If you’re in the market for a camper go see Authur. He’ll make you a “Happy Camper”.
Buyer beware is all I have to say. You will get plenty of promises but no follow up. Registration of my vehicle was a nightmare. Frontloft bed was supposed to be repaired, but wasn't. Year of vehicle advertised was wrong, didn't put the power cord back in storage box. My wife and I researched how ti fix the loftbead online and we were able to do it ourselves. I don't recommend dealing with them unless you are good at fixing things on your own.
Arthur and his team are great. My wife and I did our research and it led us to s&m. We bought a coachman Catalina legacy edition from them. He worked with us through the finance process and his team set up the trailer and my vehicle very quickly. His team did a through demonstration of all the mechanical and ensures everything was right before we left. Never had a better experience with any dealership of any kind. Great people.
