We purchased our travel trailer in 5/25, with our purchase the surge/plug was included. After 4 1/2 months the plug failed. We called and was talk to contact the manufacturer, went around with them and they told us that since we purchased it through the dealer they were to take care of it. We tried to reach back out and they GHOSTED us. We now do not have a plug and will have to buy it. We also bought a service/warranty package. Had the valv for the outdoor gas stove break (in the open position) we stopped in to ask for service, they said here’s the part fix yourself. So for all the $ we spent the care and compassion and honoring their promises are nil! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!
We purchased a new "Roost43", and are looking forward to getting it delivered before the nasty weather sets in. Very friendly staff, huge selection, and clean & orderly store/shop.
The folks at Scenic couldn’t have been more helpful! I was traveling through town on my way to South Dakota and needed to find a water pump for our travel trailer. They accommodated me on replacing it when I arrived in town. Fast, courteous, fairly priced-all good vibes! Thanks Scenic RV!
We towed our trailer to the RV Sales &Service site. They winterized it and we were on our way home. Thank you Al, Steve and the other guy for your great and prompt service. I highly recommend them!
Taylor was amazing to work with! She was patient and went above and beyond by answering all of our crazy questions, measuring all parts of the camper, double checking anything and everything on the camper since we live so far away from the dealership. She even played with our toddler to keep him occupied and made sure he had toys to play with so we could focus on choosing and purchasing the camper that fit our needs!

Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Scenic Traveler - Wisconsin Dells listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Scenic Traveler - Wisconsin Dells which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Scenic Traveler - Wisconsin Dells for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Scenic Traveler - Wisconsin Dells in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
