Was just chargerd 296.96 for them to tell me my battery was dead, and that's why my slide would not go out. I find this to be outrageous, also in the price they charged 89.50 for a battery systems check unbelievable, the camper sat there for 4weeks on top of that after having an appointment to drop it off. A disgrace of a business will not go back and do NOT recommend
When I found myself with an entry door that wouldn't close, RV Service of VA saved my trip. The fit me in on short notice and had me back on the road in under two hours for a reasonable price. If I lived nearby, they would be my preferred service provider. I'd give them six stars if I could.
I had an ongoing problem with my Aqua-Hot diesel boiler and as a member of the FMCA I got a referral to RV Service of Virginia. I called them and was really impressed with Cindy in Customer Service, so I made an appointment. I live in Northern Virginia, and they are in Ashland, so I hopped on I-95 and headed down there for my 8:15 am Thursday appointment. Promptly at 8:15 am, Cindy came out and checked me in. Right behind her, was Zack, the Aqua-Hot mechanic. Zack and I discussed my problem, and he went right to work. Not too long after that, I was told the fuel pump needed replacing. The parts department had one in stock, and he went right to the installation. He was done by noon but wanted to let the boiler run while he was at lunch. Everything was fine so when he got back, he started the annual service. While he was doing that, they did a state inspection for me. By 2:30 everything was thoroughly tested, and I was on my way. The cost was very reasonable, and I am very pleased with their work. They are my go-to service people from here on out. They also have a separate but in the same building, used RV sales. Don’t support this guy. Great staff, great techs, but the owner is more concerned with his bottom line than customer service. Went in for an inspection, failed for one brake light bulb… no problem i understand, was even happy to pay for replacement until they quoted me $100 TO REPLACE A BULB. Was told either I could pay $100 or schedule a second appointment in a couple weeks to bring it back after i had fixed it. Even offered to replace myself outside to save us both the time and effort to which I received a rant from the owner about how they dont make money off inspections so either pay $100 for him to fix it ( mind you this is 2 mins worth of work ) or “you go ahead and fix it and you can bring it back “ in the rudest most condescending manner possible. Even a simple no would have sufficed but owner went out of his way to be a complete jerk about it. Find another local business to support, this guy doesn’t deserve it.
On point customer service knowledgeable about industry and parts patient on phone assistance had the part in stock new water heater. New unit works great. Thanks yall ! I know where to go now for my RV parts !
