Do NOT buy vehicles from purple wave. They always have misinformation on there. We just paid thousands of dollars for a truck. We drove 4 hours to get the truck and it didnt even make it 1 hour into the drive back. We contacted purple wave since the seller did not list the issue that was going on and purple wave would not help us because the check engine light was on when we bought it however the issue that was wrong had nothing to do with the check engine light this place will take your money and then you're screwed. They claim you can get the vehicle checked by an auto mechanic before...this isn't always the case. Especially when you live far away. Here is the run down of what we had to pay just to get it running. Which is what we paid for the vehicle. So we got double screwed.
We bought a truck through Purple Wave that was 12 hours from our home so we were not able to inspect it in person before bidding. The listing online said it had 103,000 miles on the truck. We made the trip to go pick it up and when we arrived the odometer said 303,000 miles. We contacted Purple Wave and they said it was a fault on their end that they misread the odometer but that nothing could be done since we had agreed to the terms and conditions when purchasing the truck, which we understand, but I would think they would try to make sure the listing is completely accurate before posting online. The truck definitely was not worth the amount we paid for it with that many miles on it. I would recommend if you buy something through them that you see it in person first because obviously we had too much trust in them.
l was wanting to bid over 20k on a piece of equipment and with time running out ,was worried they would auto-balk and l would be short.I called and a short minute ,after looking at my buying history..said "Youre clear,We know you mean business" I have always bantered and never been anything but supertreated. Their attitudes are always helpful .never treating me as lm up to something.!
I don't usually use bid platforms, but as always, you gotta do it at least once in your life. I bought a skid for my personal needs, at home and I am satisfied, since they provided me with all the repairs, all the parts that needs to be changed, so no hidden fees. The only issue why I will not rate it at max, unfortunately they failed to deliver it within 30 days as we agreed upon, and did it in 52 days, because of "money clearance" and "titling". It really affected my plans, since the team I hired to make the construction work, needed to be paid twice.
