My wife and I had been shopping for a new Travel Trailer for several months. Having decided on what we wanted we began shopping locally in Wisconsin where we live. Struggling to find a dealer that could provide us with a guaranteed delivery date and rock bottom cash price without finagling ridiculous finance options and gimmicks I broadened my search. I quickly found Pontiac RV and they had the exact model we wanted in stock. I called and spoke to Sales Associate Brad Gillette who immediately provided me a rock bottom cash price which beat any local Wisconsin dealer by far! The following day I drove to Pontiac Illinois and signed the paperwork. Brad even met me on his scheduled day off so he could walk through the rig with me and ensure I was happy! Absolutely amazing experience and we are looking forward to the camping season! I highly recommend Pontiac RV if you are looking for a dealership that will treat like a friend!
Excellent experience at Pontiac RV! Hubs and I had been browsing RVs for some time, attending shows, visiting dealers trying to determine type, size, style etc. We visited numerous dealers throughout IL & WI. Many were really, really bad and a few were even worse. A couple weren't awful, but there was only one that was really, really nice - Pontiac RV. After our first visit, I really hoped to buy there. They carry great brands, have an enormous indoor and outdoor showroom and they allow you to walk through the units without a salesman. They don't sit you down and review the type of camping you'll be doing, they don't ask for your name or contact information. They just let you browse. If you want help, they're happy to assist and walk away. When we finally decided on a make & model, we found and were talking through "a great deal" on a 2025 from another dealer. Thankfully, in a moment of clarity, we stopped, called Pontiac RV and talked to Brad who, over the phone gave us an excellent out the door price on a 2026 - no fees or add ons. We agreed on the deal and hubs went down there a couple days later to sign the paperwork, etc. Very transparent. They didn't try to upsell us on additional solar, lithium batteries, or anything else. They offered to store the camper for the winter (for free), but we were anxious to bring it home so they stored it until we received the hitch we ordered from ProPride. Then the folks at Pontiac RV were happy to let my husband use one of their bays so that he could install the hitch on the truck and trailer indoors! They handled all the warranty registrations for us, did an excellent walk through and really just seemed to do whatever they could to ensure we had a great experience with them from start to finish. This family owned business is one I'm very happy to support. Thank you Pontiac RV!
Great experience at Pontiac RV. No hassling and just great service all around. Very detailed during the whole process and felt even more confident walking out of there after purchasing our 1st travel trailer. Brad G is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We purchased a used 2017 camper. Got a good price. Everyone was very nice and professional. Brad, our salesman, was great! We took our camper home and discovered several issues. When we called Brad to discussed our concerns he without hesitation made arrangements to pickup our camper. All issue's were met with replacement or repair. We love our camper.
