My experience with Pete’s RV was hands-down one of the most frustrating and disappointing encounters I’ve ever had with any dealership. From sales to management to finance, every department managed to outdo the last in sheer incompetence. Sales Department: The sales staff seemed far more interested in pushing whatever unit benefited them rather than listening to what I actually needed. High-pressure tactics, half-answers, and a complete lack of product knowledge made the process feel less like buying an RV and more like trying to escape a timeshare presentation. Empty promises of detailing/cleaning the RV before pick up, “gifting” the year of free camping (that everyone gets) as part of negotiations. There are no negotiations, don’t let them fool you. Management: If you’re looking for accountability or professionalism, don’t bother. Management acted irritated anytime I asked for clarity or help, as if customer service were a personal inconvenience. Issues that should’ve been simple to resolve were met with dismissiveness, excuses, or—my personal favorite—just being ignored entirely. JJ is a different breed of jerk. Finance Department: The finance experience was the final insult. Sloppy explanations, surprise fees, and an attitude that screamed “just sign and go.” It felt like they expected customers not to read anything or ask questions, and when I did, their patience evaporated instantly. Overall: Pete’s RV proved to me that a dealership can have shiny campers on the lot but still be an absolute disaster behind the scenes. The lack of communication, transparency, and basic customer respect across every department was astonishing. If you value your time, money, or sanity, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. If you survive all of the above, please read on to find the only gems in the whole place! After dealing with the disaster that is Pete’s RV sales, management, and finance, I was fully prepared for the orientation to be just as awful. Shockingly, it wasn’t—and that is entirely thanks to Ty and Crystal. Ty and Crystal were the ONLY saving grace this place has. They were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful—something I hadn’t experienced at any point before meeting them. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every question without rushing me, and actually seemed to care whether I understood how to use my new camper safely and confidently. Their professionalism and kindness were such a stark contrast to the rest of the experience that it almost didn’t feel like the same dealership. If Pete’s RV had more people like Ty and Crystal, they might actually function like a competent business. To be clear: the sales, management, and finance departments were a complete nightmare—but Ty and Crystal stood out as the rare employees who actually take pride in what they do and treat customers with respect. If Pete’s RV is still staying afloat, it’s because of people like them

Just purchased a 5th wheel at the 2025 Boston Camping show. This was our first time using Pete's RV, what a terrific experience. Answered any and all questions, called back within minutes. The walk through was very thorough. I can't recommend them enough. Picked up at the Plainville MA location.

I’ll admit I went into the purchase of our 2025 Odyssey very apprehensive. I’ve been on camper Facebook groups for the last couple years doing as much research as I could before pulling the trigger. Many were posting about the horrible experiences some had doing business with rv dealers and getting service. To say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Dealing with Pete’s was a five star experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and will do what ever is necessary to resolve any issues and answer questions. The entire crew stayed late to accommodate us. They are very easy to deal with. If you’re in the market for a trailer or rv I would strongly recommend Pete’s RV. Many Thanks, David & Jody

I met several of the most knowledgeable, friendly, patient and non-pressuring sales people of anywhere, ever -especially Jared, at the NH RV show over the weekend. I had 0 intention of buying a new RV but after all the information and consideration as well as the availability of an exceptional RV at a great value, i made the jump and have 0 remorse. I did extensive research on the RV recommended for my needs (Nucamp 400 Tab Boondock) before purchasing it and everything they told me was accurate. My restless 9 year old also said “Jared is so nice”. Jared answered all of my kid’s crazy questions with respect and seriousness. I guess he knew who the real decision maker is 🤣. There was never anyone telling me that my other RV considerations were wrong or not good RVs, only the facts to help me compare apples to oranges.We are so thrilled to pick up our RV and start our adventures.
