My wife and I are a long time backpacking, white water rafting, and tandem bicycle touring couple. We know how to camp and travel light. Now in our 60s, we prefer camping with more comfort. After much online research, we decided the Sun Lite 18RD would be a perfect fit for me, my gal and a chocolate lab named Santana. Working with Dawn and Mike at Neal's RV has been a pleasant experience. Both are customer focused and quick to respond to our questions. I had specific trailer upgrade requirements (largest solar panels, largest Lithium battery, Pine interior, Murphy Bed, Oven, 6 inch lift with off road tires, etc.). Neal's RV rose to facilitate my (recovering perfectionist) requests. We placed a deposit on the Sun Lite 18RD custom order early in January. Received our new trailer 3 weeks later. Absolutely love it. It does have some small wood blem issues and I plan to change out the furnace thermostat and medicine cabinet. Still, we love the trailer and appreciate the professional customer care from Neil's RV. Highly recommend.
I purchased a trailer a year ago from Neal and did not have a good experience at all. First there was negativity towards me paying cash for the trailer, because they would make less money. Purchasing the trailer Neal got upset about me wanting to use batteries not purchased from his dealership which he used against me later when a wire connection wasn’t working properly and I brought the the trailer in for warranty work. They charged me 600$ for a pre trailer inspection that obviously wasn’t done properly and again his excuse was “because you didn’t buy our batteries”. Maybe a month into owning the trailer I had wiring issues with the furnace which someone gave me some tips from Neal’s shop and helped me fix it but again where did my 600$ inspection money go? And to top that the brakes on the right side are not connected to the wiring harness which should have been spotted in the 600$ inspection which has worn down the left tire pre maturely and I have got to fix it because it is not worth taking it all the way back to Orem for this place to try and fix it. I am happy with the trailer I purchased but wish I had found it at a different dealship.
Neal’s RV was amazing. We knew the exact trailer we wanted and they made sure we got it and took care of us the entire way. The communication was amazing. And they were careful to only sell us what we needed, even bringing up some ideas to save us money rather than just sell to sell. Definitely support this local business. Tremendous people and great service.
