My wife and I purchased a new Airstream here at MWA in October of 2024. The initial buying process went fairly smoothly. Sales person was helpful and always reachable. They also were okay with me putting together my hitch in their garage shop. I appreciated that. Unfortunately I ran into issues thereafter. There were a number of issues with the interior of the trailer that were not caught during my walkthrough. The problem began when my sales person didn’t go through the checklist that is provided to you in your paperwork. We went through basic things like opening windows, curtains, locating and using switches, exterior storage spaces and plugs. Once I left the dealership I noticed that the cabinet trim was coming apart on all kitchen cabinets. Door hinges were loose, accordion shades were crumpled, bathroom door was leaking, unaligned entry door that could no longer be locked, an expired 30 gallon propane tank, leaking bathroom fan, cracked window solar guard, and a cracked pipe in our tankless water heater. We were told to just go through warranty but the trailer was “brand new” and never used. Airstreams warranty dept will deny some claims and will take a while doing so. They move very slowly and do not keep you informed on the process. When they asked us where we purchased our trailer we told them MWA. The person on the phone had an actual vocal reaction when I told them. My assumption is this happens often here. Luckily we found a great dealer in Michigan to help with some of this. Woodland Airstream in Clarkston is where we should’ve made a purchase and will use them in the future. Purchasing an Airstream should’ve been an exciting time for us but it wasn’t at all. A year later we are still trying to get our repairs completed. Do yourself a favor and get a third party to inspect your trailer before you finish the purchase and look into other dealerships. We were talked out of that by MWA and I guess we know why. They didn’t want to take responsibility perhaps. I don’t know. Just be aware of the lag time when putting in claims for warranty and do your homework. Pay special attention when on your walkthrough and it’ll save you time, energy, stress, and a huge headache.

Kevin and Aaron and everyone else were so easy to work with, no issues at all working out a great deal with them. I would really recommend this dealership if you want a good and stress free deal on an RV.

For an operation of this size, I would have expected to run into a “dud” somewhere and yet, from Kevin Davis in sales, to Autumn in finance, and the service folks who quickly fixed a negligible item in my used unit, that frankly lesser RV companies would not have even offered to fix, I could not have had a better experience. I thank you all! In the future, I won’t waste time going anywhere else🙂

Bought a new camper at Mark Wahlberg this week. Kevin our salesperson and Autum who did the finance/title etc was very helpful and speedy! These guys ROCK! We will continue to use Mark Wahlberg for any future needs.
