I recently bought my first camper at Kunes and, as a guy who dislikes spending money in general and vehicle shopping in particular, I can't say enough good things about the people at the Sterling location. Kristina the general manager did an amazing job of building an initial rapport and then taking a step back to let her crew handle business, all the while being approachable without being pushy. Jozlyn and Tom on the sales team were very helpful and knowledgeable, and went out of their way to accommodate my unpredictable schedule and were very accessible throughout the whole process; they are there to get the right camper for their customers and they both enjoy what they do. Jessica the financial officer was phenomenal, if I had known someone could make the banking portion of purchasing a camper this easy I would have done it years ago - hands down the best customer experience through financing in my 30+ years of buying vehicles. The final walkthrough was done by Crayton in the service department and he deserves a medal for his patience in handling my endless questions and demands going over the unit and making sure I understood all the details and workings of my first camper experience; there wasn't a single request or question that he couldn't accommodate and I had many! Where to start…Bought a brand new 26’ Travel Trailer from this dealer,we were given the wrong price, (of course actually price was more). Finally settled on a price, got lied to in finance, got told they could ceramic coat inside and outside of a 26’ TT in an hour(makes me wonder how many fall for that). Pick it up and get it home notice it’s dirty black steaks down the sides from the window seals and overall just dirty. After using it a few times notice it is very rust underneath (obvious salt damage). Water heater cover hinges rusting thru, lp fittings and locks so corroded they barely functioned, first time in the rain front vent leaked, finally get appointment they say warranty won’t cover corrosion. So I get the manager involved finally after weeks of phone tag and back and forth, he agrees they will fix all problems except locks ($400). All good drop it off get told 3-4days tops they will have it done. Give it a week call manger says yup it’s outside ready to go I will go verify everything is complete. Perfect, I book a campsite for that weekend, figuring even if he calls back and all is not done I’ll just take it for the weekend bring it back next week. He never calls back, call twice that Friday and once that Saturday morning…still no call back camper has been there 3 weeks no updates or anything….
