We had an amazing time travelling around in a 25ft rv from cruise America, nice to drive, plenty of storage, easy to hook up at campsites so just a simple process all round. The only negative thing I would say is that the rv is a little tired and could tell it had been used loads over the years, but having said that I would still definitely recommend as it has been one of the best trips we have ever been on.
Cruise America could not have been easier to deal with. Reservation was made on-line but I called and altered our reservation multiple times. When we arrived, everything was as expected. They checked us out fast and checked us in just as quickly. If you're a novice RV operator, as I am, I cannot recommend Cruise America SLC enough.
I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Cruise America RV in Salt Lake City! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. The front desk team made the check-in process quick and easy, and they answered all of my questions with patience and a smile. A special shout-out to the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect before I hit the road. Their attention to detail and friendly attitude truly made me feel confident and well taken care of. The RV itself was in pristine condition—clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. Everything worked flawlessly, and it was clear that the team takes pride in maintaining their fleet to the highest standards. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. If you’re looking to rent an RV in Salt Lake City, Cruise America is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back for my next adventure!
RV was in great shape, customer service was outstanding before during and after the trip. We did have a small issue on the road but customer service responded quickly with a resolution. We had an amazing trip. Not the cheapest but the piece of mind was worth the extra dollars.
This is our 3d time renting a trailer with Cruise America, and it is always a great, client-oriented experience. Sure, the trailer can have some technical imperfections, but customer service is always there to help or give advice. Thank you for an amazing opportunity to travel with you.

Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Cruise America - Salt Lake City listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Cruise America - Salt Lake City which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Cruise America - Salt Lake City for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
