We incorporated in 1996 as a marine sales and service center. In just a few short years we outgrew our first facility and had the opportunity to move into an amazing facility and incorporated campers and Rv's into our dealerships inventory. With over eight acres of land and over 35,000 square Foot of building, we have grown into the largest Marine and camper dealer in the entire Midwest.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Scott, Sue, and Richard were absolutely wonderful to work with. We are first time camper owners and they answered any and all questions we had and walked us through every step of the way! We will be sending any and everyone to them for all things camper! We will for sure be back for when it’s time to upgrade!!
On the road, slide awning came loose in extreme winds, stopped at Coleman for an emergency assist. In the middle of the day they were short on help as staff was readying for the big RV show. Sean fit us in and had us on the road in less than 2 hours! Well done, we're grateful...oh, they did NOT take advantage by overcharging either!
Awesome experience. JD was so patient with us. Third times a charm. Sue in finance office is great to work with. Richard very informative with our final inspection. Thanks!
We have enjoyed our dealings with Colman’s .. We just bought our second camper with them. J. D. Harris spent a lot of time with us which we really appreciate. We think you’ll be happy dealing with them. Oct 14, 2024 I spoke too soon … we took it to Kentucky in May... it was a mess .. we had a list of 16 things that were wrong … JD told me the air conditioner wasn’t loud … it was like a train … The refrigerator didn’t turn on, kitchen faucet was broke … toilet lines leaked … and more … took it to them in May .. got it back in august. We just arrived tonight in Wisconsin … water on the kitchen floor … the hot water line is leaking.. their service department forgot to put a washer in … we’ll be searching for one tomorrow. If you can find a camper elsewhere, GO THERE!!!! We will not buy another one from them.
Sue and Timothy Barnes did a great job , highly recommend doing business with them

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop Colman's RV's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Colman's RV listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Colman's RV which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Colman's RV for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Colman's RV in Springfield, Illinois.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
