Teresa and Anthony were absolutely wonderful with our camper purchase. We got a sunset trails 253RB and absolutely love it. They walked us thru everything and how it all worked and answered all of our questions. Can't wait to take it out Sunday to Jordan Lake!!🥰 We Highly recommend them for their knowledge and customer service as well as parts and installing a new ceramic higher toilet for us and hooking up our tow hitch to the camper and making sure we are 100% safe driving off. A smooth ride and got it home safely. Even texted Teresa a few times after we were home and she was quick to respond. Our little dog approves as well, we knew she would love it. 🐾 Looking forward to fun camping aka Glamping adventures in our fabulous RV!! Thanks again guys.👌
I don’t usually write reviews, but we had such a great experience, that I wanted to make sure they get the credit they deserve Teresa was friendly and efficient through the whole process. Her and the team went above and beyond to get our camper ready ASAP! We were first timers and they made it very easy for us. They didn’t rush us, and honestly went above and beyond with everything. This is not a let’s sell them and then upsell some more. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you guys for the great experience. Michelle and Jason.
My wife and I just started investigating campers and stopped by Carolina Camper Works in Knightdale. Our sales representative Teresa was so very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. We explained what we were looking and that's where she stayed. She didn't try to upsell us on a productive we couldn't use or tow and stayed well within our price range. She also gave some great advice for first time RV owners and provided an out of the door price and quote no strings attached. If you're looking for a travel trailer and find that Carolina Camper Works has what you're looking for you won't be disappointed. Enjoy.

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop Carolina Camper Works's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Carolina Camper Works listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Carolina Camper Works which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Carolina Camper Works for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Carolina Camper Works in Knightdale, North Carolina.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
