As you probably noticed, our name is a little different and so are we! Blue Dog RV was started by several families moving from all over the Northwest and we're now owned by Blue Compass RV. We came together to form a new and different RV dealership to serve the Northern Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, and Nevada area. We wanted to take what we learned at very good dealers combined with our shared vision of customer service for RV sales and service up to a level that people have never experienced. I don’t normally write reviews, but I’ve been meaning to write one for Blue Compass Rv of Pasco for quite a while. People often write reviews when they’re unhappy, but I’m writing this review because this experience has positively stood out from other large purchase experiences I’ve had in my life. My husband and I purchased our first camper here in August of 2024. Purchasing from Blue Compass RV in Pasco has been the best experience we could’ve asked for throughout the process, from before to during and even after the sale. We did our research prior to coming in and pretty much knew which brand and model we wanted (Grand Design Transcend Xplor 265BH). We had been in contact with other dealers in the PNW who had our desired model on their lot and were seeking the best price. When we contacted Blue Compass, their responsiveness, friendliness, and willingness to be competitive made it clear that they wanted our business. Tony was our salesperson and he was outstanding. The sales manager, Scott, was great too. They worked together to beat all the competitor prices. We noticed a few minor issues during our final walkthrough, which Tony made note of and assured us they’d be fixed within 60 days. During the paperwork process, they even gave my 5 year old son an adorable toy truck/camper to play with, which kept him busy and has been a favorite toy ever since. After the sale, it took them a few days to prepare the trailer for pickup. When we came to pick up, a lady gave us a whole orientation on how to use all the features of the camper. She graciously allowed me to record the orientation so I could reference later on, which was awesome. After the sale, we had some electrical issues pop up while on our second trip with the camper. We took it in for repairs and while it took about 4-5 weeks to diagnose, order parts, and fix the issue, we appreciated that they communicated with us throughout the process and it didn’t cost us a dime. When we picked it up, we noticed that not only was the electrical problem fixed, but all the walkthrough issues had been repaired, which prevented us from having to bring it in again. We just took the camper out for the first time this spring and noticed the fridge isn’t working properly. We called the service department and they made us an appointment for early next week to bring it in. Everything is still under warranty. Overall, repairs have been a breeze with the service department. In summary, dealing with Blue Compass has been the best experience. I would recommend them without hesitation.
We recently bought a 2025, 2515s Rockwood mini lite at the Pasco, WA location. From early on Tony was great communicating and responding to our questions and needs. Luis was also great with communication and answering our questions. We had A+ service with everyone at this location. A Huge shout out to the following: Tony, Luis, Allison, Stefan, Robbie, Tim and especially wanted to point out Jake who I could tell worked very hard to make this happen with such a quick turnaround. I would recommend this location!
This Dealership lied to me and was the worst Dealership I've ever been involved with. Bought a 2026 Grand Design and they did not prep it or fix broken issues or even supply proper paperwork needed for road use... Only a 3 days use versus 45 day temp plate Grand Design is addressing all the issues with the RV while Blue Compass hides under a rock waiting for my advocacy attorneys and the law to strike. DONT BUY FROM BLUE COMPASS IN LIBERTY LAKE OR PASCO!!! Grand Design responded to my post and have promised to send special tech out by week of 10/7/2025... We will see what happens... Repair Ticket #00908040 Vin 573TT2018T8839904 Today Rutger Miller came to my site and repaired my RV. This is my first Grand Design purchase and my neighbors own the Imagine model. They convinced me to try the Grand Design. I purchased my Transcend model in August and took possession the 15th. There were many issues with the RV including safety but I was told Grand Design would repair all under warranty with an onsite tech from Grand Design. After 4 weeks I contacted Grand Design to discover they had no warrenty paperwork on my RV? The Dealership had not mailed it in. I had a very negative opinion of Grand Design until your tech Rutger Miller arrived October 23. He addressed the issues on door, furnace, and speaker cover plus a few tips for me. Rutger was professional, but personable, efficient, knowledgeable, sensitive to my concerns, communicated extremely well, and his customer service skills are exceptional! Rutger has restored my faith in Grand Design and I intend to alter my reviews with this current update. I have not changed my negative opinion of Blue Compass Dealerships and think Grand Design should know both Dealerships deceived me about Grand Design and released a defective product to me causing a negative opinion of your company. I buy word of mouth and my friends also... Blue Compass Dealerships have very negative reviews and reputation but they were the only Dealership in Washington State with a model for sale. I was forced to do business with them for my Grand Design. Please give Rutger Miller the Kudos he earned and with superior techs like Rutger your company lives up to its good reputation. We cannot say enough good things about Josh at Blue Compass of Pasco. I reached out to Blue Compass regarding a used travel trailer that they had listed. Josh responded to our inquiry and was immediately transparent about some repairs that the trailer needed. We discussed things further and decided it was worth going to take a look. We drove a significant ways, and Josh was kind enough to come meet us on his day off. He showed us the unit, pointed out everything in detail, and made sure we were comfortable with all the options. We also worked with Allison, the manager. The whole team made sure that we were getting exactly what we expected prior to moving forward with paperwork. They even worked with us on the price of the unit and the repairs. As it turned out, it wasn’t going to be able possible to replace the damaged linoleum in the unit as we were all hoping, and even though we were so close to committing, the whole team was SO understanding of our deciding not to move forward. We kept in contact with Josh, who continued to search and send us units to consider. Ultimately, we didn’t purchase a unit from Blue Compass Pasco BUT we would HIGHLY recommend the sales team here. Josh and Allison were honest, transparent, understanding, helpful, and not pushy AT ALL. They stood out among all the dealerships we visited in our journey to purchase a travel trailer!
We have a new Imagine trailer that was having a few issues. We took the trailer into the Pasco Blue Compass for repairs. One week later the repairs were complete, and the other issue was one due to being novices. We’re so pleased with the quick and efficient repairs, and excellent customer service! You guys are awesome!
