Came to blue compass on Saturday 11/1/2025 to look at class c motorhomes. Walked in and seen Josh our salesman who showed us a motorhome with a floor plan we feel in love with. Josh was outstanding very knowledgeable and professional he is the best!!!! We ended up buying it the Entrada 2950ok. Craig the sales manager was great and gave us a great deal we couldn’t pass on and then Ryan the finance guy was such a great guy to deal with. When we came to pick up the new motorhome we got to go over the motorhome with Ken the service tech which was such a pleasure meeting and professional with how he showed me and my wife the way things worked. Ken was great thanks so much to blue compass and all their great associates from the receptionist to the parts guy such a great place to buy a motorhome or Rv!!!! Recommend them whole heartedly!!!!
Between this dealership and the Auburn Hills, Michigan dealership, I have been genuinely impressed by their professionalism and willingness to make things happen even when our needs were unusual. We drove here from Ohio to pick up our unit, and they’ve taken wonderful care of our large family to make sure we have what we need. Great experience front the moment we arrived! From Heather’s smiling face and Randy’s awesome people skills and camper knowledge! He worked with us until we found exact we were looking for. Matt did a great job walking us through the ins and outs of the camper and Aaron was super helpful with getting us squared away with all of the parts we needed to make sure all our bases were covered for taking care of the camper and ourselves while we stay in it. Overall good people every step of the way!
We went to the Greensboro RV show and was blown away by the kindness and friendlyness of the sales people. From the first start they listen to us and never stopped listening, they took their time with us and got o know us. They were very knowledgeable and professional, they were not pushy at all. They were able to get us exactly what we wanted for our trade and the New Grand Design we wanted. From start to finish it was amazing. We have been having our travel trailer served here for the last 9 years, and they are great. Can not wait to start a new adventure with our new RV.
It was well worth the two hour drive from Blacksburg, Va, to trade our 19 year old fifth wheel for a 2019 fifth wheel at Blue Compass RV/Winston Salem. Logan took the time to speak with me over the phone following my initial online inquiry and continued to answer a host of questions about used rv’s even after I told him that nothing in their inventory seemed to fit my limited budget. During our first visit to the dealership, Randy expertly explained the features of the unit we wanted to purchase and then he went to bat for us to get maximum trade in value for our old fifth wheel. Randy’s emails and texts during the negotiation phase were prompt, clear, and forthright. He arranged for the dealership to install new tires. Most importantly Randy never rushed us to make a purchase decision and welcomed our decision to walk away and think on it. Ken patiently showed us how to operate the systems of our new camper—much has changed since 2006! Ken also fixed a trim item we noticed during the walkthrough prior to purchase and delivery. A helpful gentleman whose name I cannot recall in the service department made arrangements for a Max Air roof vent to be installed prior to delivery at our cost. Brian in the finance office had the paperwork completed prior to our delivery appointment and he thoroughly explained the myriad of forms that come with any vehicle purchase. He presented various towing and repair insurance plans in a friendly, not hard-sell, manner. Personnel in the parts department professionally explained the adapter and surge protector we would need when switching to a 50 amp system in the newer fifth wheel. In summation, Blue Compass rv in Winston Salem has the small town personalized sales experience you expect from the mom and pop small town rv dealerships of old while providing shoppers a wide array of new and used rv’s to fit all budgets. (I regret that I cannot recall the names of other helpful employees who helped us in various phases of our purchase!) End of season update: I regret that I didn't do a better walk through of the unit prior to purchase....Turns out that although the ac was blowing cold air, it was dying and we suffered at the beach and subsequently replaced the AC at a local dealer. Also, half of the window shades do not work properly and I should have noticed this prior to purchase. Nonetheless, I still am glad that we purchased the unit. Just know that if you're buying a used vehicle, there's lots to check before you drive off the lot.
