From Marcus in service to Amber in finance and Zack in sales this is easily the best place that I have ever purchased a new travel trailer ever! The entire staff was completely friendly and the prices is beyond fair! Absolutely astonished by everything how this entire process was handled. I've already referred my friend to go there and I will definitely be back in the future.
We’ve had a great experience with every department we’ve worked with. We mainly worked with the GM, Mike, on pricing and for our purchase. He was great to deal with. Working with the woman who we signed our paperwork with and purchased our warranties (forget her name), was also good to work with. Markus in the service center has been great. We had our first trip and had an issue not being able to get hot water and someone in the service department was able to troubleshoot the issue for us. Erin, who we did our walk thru with, was very informative and helpful. This is our first RV purchase so we’re super happy with our experience. They allowed a third party inspection. And fixed the few minor things that came back on our report within 24 hours. Even though we weren’t picking our trailer up for a couple weeks. We’ve not had any service done there so I can’t speak to that. But as of right now, nothing but good things to say about them! And would definitely recommend to anyone looking.
We recently had a lot of warranty issues completed on our Rockwood fifth wheel and must say that it was actually a pleasant experience. Our service advisor,Jason Booth, was great to work with. He listened to our issues and kept us informed on what Forest River was willing to do and what RCD would do. He also sent periodic texts to keep us informed of the progress of the repairs. Overall from purchase to warranty repair we are very happy with and have no reservations on recommending RCD Medina for you next RV.
Jason Booth, at RCD in Medina Ohio, working with him on our 2021 Salem Hemisphere 271rl, great experience we’re super happy with his experience and knowledge, we will definitely, recommend him to everyone for his honesty, and professional service, for RV repair and service !!!!!!!
I am pleased to give RVD RV a very positive review. They have been very attentive to our needs and have done a great job making sure we are satisfied with their service. Everyone is welcoming when you come in, but not at all pushy. If you are considering buying, or just need service or accessories, we would definitely recommend them!

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop Avalon RV Center's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Avalon RV Center listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Avalon RV Center which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Avalon RV Center for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Avalon RV Center in Medina, Ohio.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
