Buying a motorcycle from Marks Motorsports in Enfield, Connecticut? Follow this checklist before you commit.
Verify the title and VIN
Check the VIN on the frame, engine, and title to confirm they match. Run the VIN through a motorcycle history report. Marks Motorsports should be able to provide documentation for any bike in their inventory.
Check the fork seals and bearings
Look for oil weeping down the fork tubes — a sign the seals need replacement. Grab the front wheel and push/pull firmly to check for play in the steering head bearings.
Inspect the chain and sprockets
A worn chain will have excess slack and the sprocket teeth will look hooked or pointed instead of rounded. Chain and sprocket replacement runs $200–$500. Factor that into your offer if it's needed.
Check tire age and tread depth
Look for the DOT date code on the sidewall — tires over five years old should be replaced regardless of tread. Tires are a safety item, not a cosmetic one.
Take a test ride
Confirm the clutch engages smoothly, the brakes feel firm, and the bike tracks straight at speed. Listen for valve noise, exhaust leaks, or electrical issues. A short test ride catches problems a visual inspection misses.
Motorcycle loans are typically shorter and more affordable than RV or boat loans. Here is what to know before financing through Marks Motorsports in Enfield, Connecticut.

I was looking for a new triumph dirt bike, More specifically , the tf450c. Mom's motorsports was the only location in connecticut that had one.. After a conversation with my salesman Lary, We had set up an appointment to come and take a look at the bike. I had done a lot of research on this bike and it was refreshing to see that my salesman knew all the ins and outs of the motorcycle. Process was quick, painless, and professional. When you have a staff that is as passionate about what your selling as I am. Makes it easy to purchase.
I went to MOM'S to check out the Royal Enfield Himalayan. I have been doing some research online but needed to see one in person. I had seen on Cycle trader that MOM'S had a used one for sale. As I entered the dealership I was greeted by a friendly employee. I explained to him why I was there and what I was interested in seeing. He then took me to look at the 2019 Royal Enfield Himalayan I was interested in.i was able to check it all out, sit on it and ask all the questions I had. The salesman was knowledgeable and answered all I needed to know. We then went upstairs to make a deal and do the paperwork. My salesman was 310Abraham Rolon and Jennifer Cady in finance did all the paperwork. They also did service and safety inspection and the registration. Unfortunately they don't have delivery but when I went to pick it up I had plenty of help loading it into my rental van. They have a beautiful showroom full of beautiful motorcycles, watercrafts and ATVs. They also have all kinds of parts, accessories, clothing and a service department. Sorry I don't remember everyone's name but the staff was very friendly and helpful and would recommend anyone to go there.👍
Had a great experience when I went into Moms to check on a spyder f3. Was greeted by Abe and the manager, very friendly and welcoming. Talked about the service that they had done for me last year and that I was interested in the F3. Very easy to work with and they were very up front and honest. Ended up buying the 23 F3 and the entire transaction was quick easy and everything was ready when I picked it up. Can't say enough of how great it was to work with everyone at Moms! I will continue to do business with them and will recommend them to anyone looking for a good honest place to buy or have service done! Once again thank you to entire staff that I had the pleasure to work with on my purchase! One Happy Customer!
The staff there was great, had the bike built and ready to go within a few days. The street twin is amazing! Would recommend to check out their bikes.
I recently purchased a Triumph Street Triple. I worked closely with Abraham over a few visits. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and directed me towards the bike that fit me best vs the new model. I am in love with the bike. I can't speak to the service or parts department yet, but I'm hoping to have a similarly excellent experience. My only gripe is that the bike came with the original tires with about 4.5k miles and I felt that the bike should have had new tires placed on it given that they are going to be due a change shortly, a fairly minor concern but noteable.
