I have had great service from Bob’s on every bike I have owned since 1997. Recently I needed help with a problem on my 2000 K1200RS. The service team made quick work of this and got me back on my bike in short order. I still do a lot of my own maintenance but you can’t put a price on peace of mind I get from having Bob’s on my side as well. Keep em flying!
Buyer beware: this shop seems fond of ChatGPT-style descriptions that are, shall we say, aspirational, and prices to match. Case in point: Bob’s currently advertises a 1250RT with active (adaptive) cruise control… despite the small inconvenience that it doesn’t actually have it. No radar sensor, no distance button, just optimism. Strongly recommend that new buyers bring along a mechanically savvy friend before committing, or alternatively save yourself the theatre and browse Cycle Trader instead. A glossy listing isn’t the same thing as an accurate one.
I recently purchased a 2013 Honda Goldwing F6B that I found on Bob's Motorcycles website. I'm in Texas and made my purchase through email and phone calls and had it shipped from MD to TX. Austin was absolutely awsome to work with. He answered every single question I had no matter how dumb or repetitive it may have been. Austin gave me as much history as he knew about the bike and I independently verified what he told me with my own VIN check. He was 100% honest with me not that there was really anything bad to say about the bike. I had a couple snags on my end that added about a week to the process and Austin just rolled with it like it was no big deal and worked with me. I was nervous buying it based on pictures but when it arrived it was exactly as advertised. I had it delivered to a local dealer and had them do a pre purchase inspection immediately (even though I owned it at that point) and they said it was basicly a new bike. They commented on how good of condition it was in and that all the maintenance had just been done and everything looked basicly new. (Again, like Austin told me it was). My only issue was the actual shipping. Very long story short, don't use Haul Bikes for transportation. This was my decision and had nothing to do with Bobs. If I had it to do all over again I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Bobs again I just wouldn't use Haul Bikes to handle delivery.
