Our store opened on April 1st, 2004, after Pete Jorgensen, a native of Australia, had served as service manager for a large dealer in Southeast Texas for a number of years. Pete has over 40 years of experience in the boating industry, having grown up at his father's dealership in Australia. Throughout his career, Pete also competed in Formula 1 and Offshore Powerboat racing events worldwide. With Pete's extensive service-oriented experience, he has made it our mission to offer the finest quality products to our customers backed by outstanding personal service.
Our boat broke down just before my son's high school fishing tournament and they went above and beyond to get us back on the water in time. Thank you!!!
Customer service was outstanding, stopped in unannounced for a quick health check on a new boat purchased from another dealer. I had a tournament the next day and had a couple issues, loose bracket and needing a 20 hour service. They jumped right on it, changed the oil and adjusted the gps bracket that had come loose. The service department proved to be extremely knowledgeable and professional. I will be scheduling all my future services at this location.
I can not say enough good things about this place. This past Friday while on Sam Rayburn I had a prop failure. I pulled in 30 mins. before closing up for the day, Shorty took one look at my boat and told me what was wrong and said he could get the prop warrantied for me and have me ready to go in ten minutes. With the help I was able to fish the THSBA tournament and my anglers finished up high enough to make the regional cut line. Thank you for all your help.
Needed another battery for our boat. Called here looking for that specific battery. Gave them the EXACT info from the one we have, which is an Interstate 31M Dual Purpose AGM battery. They said they had one. Drove to the store to get it. Didn't see one on the shelf, so we went to the counter. A male employee (who's name we didn't get) said they're on the shelf, walked over and pulled out a 31MHD, which is a completely different battery. When we said that's not the right battery, he got snarky, saying it WAS the battery we asked for and that the "M" in 31MHD stood for "Marine". We said "no thanks" and left. FYI, the "MHD" stands for "Mega Heavy Duty", per the Interstate Battery chart. That guy needs a refresher training course on batteries AND simple customer courtesy.
Great service. I needed new batteries for my trolling motor, they checked my old ones for free and helped me install the new ones.
