Very disappointed. I bought a nice used boat there and left it so they could do their "front to back" complete inspection, which I paid over $700.00 for. Also to install a humminbird that was part of the deal. I left it about 2 weeks, over the holidays. I got a call and was told it was ready, so I drove there to pick it up. When I got home and put it in the water I found out the drain plug leaked and had to be replaced. The blower motor for the engine compartment was also bad. I had to change the control panel because there were several bad switches on it. The navigation lights were all bad. Some fuses were missing. A lot of little pain in the neck problems that certainly should have been picked up had the service department done the inspection, which I'm convinced they did not. I like my boat, will like it more if I can ever get it all working correctly, but if I knew then what I know now, I would have gone somewhere else.
Buying a boat is a big deal, especially when your husband is not an easy sale! The team at Texas Marine made the process smooth and stress-free. His sales rep was fantastic: patient, knowledgeable, and never pushy. The best part came two days after the sale (on a Saturday!), my husband called with a few questions he forgot to ask at the time of the sale, and his call was answered right away. The rep took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure he felt confident about his purchase. That level of service is rare these days! Texas Marine truly goes above and beyond! Highly recommend them if you want a great boat-buying experience.
Zero communication, sloppy and careless. dropped my boat off for a mechanical evaluation, service and to put the boat on consignment to sell. After a month, no communication, called for an update, the rep stated they had looked at it and were waiting on paperwork, they would email within a few days. Called 2 weeks later, the rep stated that they were having trouble "finding parts". I asked what was wrong with it and they stated that nothing was wrong, it just needed to be serviced and they couldn't find the parts to service it. I received a service kit from the tige dealership in 2 days by mail last year when I serviced it so I found this odd, also considering the Ford engine takes common filters and fluids. 2 weeks later still no response. I called and said that I was coming to pick the boat up. I arrived to find my boat had been sitting out in the weather uncovered for seemingly 2 months with the cover sitting in the bow of the boat. I'll never do business with any Texas marine location again. Later found that TX marine removed my bilge switch and did not put it back. Midship bilge doesn't work now leaving water in hull.
We recently purchased a Ranger from Justin and his team at Texas Marine in Beaumont. From the sales team to the service department these guys love what they do and it shows. Truly exceptional service. Thanks again Nathan!!
The team at Texas Marine of Beaumont really did exceed my expectations. Nathan was patient and very thorough with me in his diagnosis of what i might be experiencing with my Yamaha engine. Yessy's customer service was top-notch - she is an absolute pro and was wonderful on the phone and in person. Nathan was able to get to my boat a day ahead of his estimate and Yessy really worked with my requests to expedite a river test. When their work was completed, Yessy asked for my preferred pick-up time and had my boat washed and staged out front for me. Lastly, my invoice was consistent with Nathan's quotation - no surprises. Thank you, Nathan and Yessy!

Buying a boat from Texas Marine of Beaumont in Beaumont, Texas? Use this guide to evaluate any listing before you commit.
Match the boat to your waters
Pontoons and deck boats suit calm lakes. Deep-V hulls handle chop on larger lakes and coastal water. Center consoles are versatile for fishing. Ask Texas Marine of Beaumont which models suit the waterways near Beaumont, Texas.
Inspect the hull carefully
Look for stress cracks, blistering, or repairs on fiberglass hulls. Check the transom for soft spots by pressing firmly — a solid transom feels rigid. Osmotic blistering costs thousands to repair.
Check engine hours
Inboard and outboard engines are typically rated to 1,500–3,000 hours. Low-hour engines with service records are worth more. Ask to see oil change and winterization records for any boat at Texas Marine of Beaumont.
Request a sea trial
Test the boat on the water before buying. Run it at full throttle. Listen for unusual noises. Check that the throttle and steering respond smoothly. Reputable dealers like Texas Marine of Beaumont will accommodate this request.
Verify title and registration
Ask for the current title and confirm the hull identification number (HIN) matches. Check for any liens with your state boating agency. Texas Marine of Beaumont should be able to walk you through the paperwork.
