I had the absolute best experience working with Gull Lake Marine on a big purchase! As someone who can be a bit of a tough customer, I was so impressed with how they went above and beyond to make sure I was completely happy. My journey started with salesman Brandon VanMeekeren, and from the get-go, I could tell I was in good hands. I drove 2 hours on a Friday afternoon to check out a boat they had advertised online, and when I arrived, Brandon showed me the pre-owned boat in their huge showroom. No pressure at all, just a really friendly, knowledgeable guy—he even mentioned he was about to go on the journey of a lifetime and add two more children to his family, which was a nice touch! Here’s where I get picky: I signed the purchase agreement but made it contingent on a water test, just to make sure everything was perfect. Unfortunately, the lake still had ice on it, so I had to come back the next week once it thawed. During that week, I asked if I could pay a technician (Bob, who was amazing, by the way) to take me for a test ride early, and this is where Stacy really stepped in. She took the time to go over the boat’s full service history with me over the phone. Since the boat had been purchased and serviced at their dealership, they had all the maintenance records, including photos of previous work. I requested a couple of preventative maintenance items, and Stacy coordinated everything flawlessly. Stacy and Brandon really made sure everything was taken care of—from completing the service I requested to setting up the test drive (which was a bit out of the ordinary, but they handled it perfectly) and even helping with financing. I drove up the following week, did the test drive, signed the papers, and was out the door in just a couple of hours. The communication throughout the whole process was top-notch.
