Tyler went above and beyond to assist me with troubleshooting and replacing a winch on my ATV. After testing my old winch and finding it faulty, he took the time to answer all my questions, helped me find a replacement winch, and explained in depth how to complete the new install. Anthony also spent time dissecting the old winch to explain how and why it had failed. I highly recommend contacting Tyler and Anthony for any service and parts, as they are honest and want to help fix the problem. They helped me save a significant amount of money and allowed me to have my plow system back up and running promptly.
On a recent trip up to Harbor Springs, we stopped in with some questions about the local SXS trails and regulations. We weren't paying customers but that didn't stop them from helping us out. The info they shared with us helped us a ton and made our trips out to the trails much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend them. We will consider County Wide Powersports for any future purchases we make.

Buying a boat from County Wide Powersports - Petoskey in Harbor Springs, Michigan? Use this guide to evaluate any listing before you commit.
Match the boat to your waters
Pontoons and deck boats suit calm lakes. Deep-V hulls handle chop on larger lakes and coastal water. Center consoles are versatile for fishing. Ask County Wide Powersports - Petoskey which models suit the waterways near Harbor Springs, Michigan.
Inspect the hull carefully
Look for stress cracks, blistering, or repairs on fiberglass hulls. Check the transom for soft spots by pressing firmly — a solid transom feels rigid. Osmotic blistering costs thousands to repair.
Check engine hours
Inboard and outboard engines are typically rated to 1,500–3,000 hours. Low-hour engines with service records are worth more. Ask to see oil change and winterization records for any boat at County Wide Powersports - Petoskey.
Request a sea trial
Test the boat on the water before buying. Run it at full throttle. Listen for unusual noises. Check that the throttle and steering respond smoothly. Reputable dealers like County Wide Powersports - Petoskey will accommodate this request.
Verify title and registration
Ask for the current title and confirm the hull identification number (HIN) matches. Check for any liens with your state boating agency. County Wide Powersports - Petoskey should be able to walk you through the paperwork.
